I love photos! I think we all do… we have thousands of them stored on memory cards and smart phones. They become little ‘time machines!’ These photos hold precious memories: people we love, times we have laughed, places we’ve traveled and adventures we’ve experienced! The actual moments are fleeting; by capturing them, they become part of our history. These snapshots represent defining moments of love; of LIFE!
LIFE IS ART! Capturing the art of life doesn’t have to be complicated. It can be as simple as printing a photo, jotting down a few words, and adding a few dates. The only thing that matters is DOING IT!
LET’S START NOW! This summer, I invited you to join me for 30 days of CAPTURING LIFE! I wanted to inspire you and encourage you to document and PRINT your photos! I shared one ‘photo prompt’ per day via my social media channels, and challenged everyone to snap a new photo (or find an existing photo) that would represent the photo prompt of the day. Soon there would be enough photos to create an entire album! I then promised this e-book (workbook) as a way to inspire you to get started on CAPTURING LIFE in a way that would be simple, achievable, and that would focus on the memories. This is that promised e-book of inspiration! My team and I followed along with all of the prompts, printed our photos, and we are excited to share our ideas and finished pages with you! I have always been passionate about memory keeping. Time passes so quickly, and keeping up with the memories can seem super overwhelming! The Fuse is a game changer! Once the tool is hot, use the rotary tip and applied pressure to create your own pockets! You can also add on (fuse on) flaps and extra pouches. It’s the ultimate freedom! Here’s a couple quick tips: 1. Let it heat up all the way, give it 8-10 minutes. 2. Be sure you are working on a heat resistant mat. 3. Work on a test piece of sheet protector first, and get a feel for how much pressure is best.
