The CarbonKnight flame retardant tri-blend material composition includes Kevlar® for superior strength and durability. Lightweight thermal knit construction, 6.7 oz per square yard, which traps air in the material to keep the user cool in hot environments and warm in cold environments. Moisture wicking material with odor absorbing qualities. With a TPP rating of 37.4, this hood exceeds NFPA requirements. Notch shoulder.

Double layer knit hoods are made of 40% Polyimide and 60% Lenzing, 8.2 oz. material. The single layer, 6” bib can be tucked inside a protective coat to seal the neck area. Elastic in the full face opening allows for stretch needed for easy donning of SCBA masks. Permanently flame resistant and machine washable. Also excellent for cold weather protection. Sheath is colored a different color from core for safety inspections at a glance. TEMPERATURE RESISTANCE: Maintains properties and strength to 350°F. Melting point, 480°F. ABRASION RESISTANCE: 3x more resistant than Lay Rope, Braid and Double Braid constructions. Offers the highest abrasion resistance of any rope made. CHEMICAL RESISTANCE: Will not mildew. A complete package for foam application. Attaches to 1” hose. The high impact 2.5 gallon foam reservoir with built in eductor can be set to the ratio of foam or wetting agents you use. The large easy to open fill port has an indicator to show the type of liquid in the tank. The flow is controlled by a twist grip valve/ carrying handle. The discharge velocity can be changed with a quarter turn to meet your needs for inlet pressures between 40 to 500 PSI. The nominal flow is 12 GPM at 100 PSI. The package includes a straight stream nozzle, low expansion nozzle, medium expansion nozzle and shoulder strap.

FOAM

Dilutes a non-toxic, biodegradeable solid foam cartridge in the water flow, then passes through the air-aspirating foam nozzle to produce foam. Each cartridge lasts up to 30 minutes.
