Located at Ninth Street and Minnesota Avenue in Sioux Falls, SD, the Central Fire Station was constructed in 1911 of Sioux quartzite and is one of the oldest buildings in Sioux Falls. The fire station is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and holds the honor as the oldest working fire station west of the Mississippi.

READY RACK EXTRACTOR

The DECON/pak Por table Decontamination System is a self contained agent proportioning and rinse application system developed specifically for gross decontamination of firefighting personnel and equipment. Studies show that field decon using soap, water and a brush reduce cancer causing contamination on turnout gear by 85%. Simple operation, add cleaning agent, connect to a hoseline, wash, scrub and rinse. Flow is controlled by a twist grip valve that also functions as a carrying handle. Agent proportioning ranges from 0.1 to .5% for cleaning agent or set to rinse with water only.

Patented tub design cleans better than circular tubs. It tumbles PPE gear like a front loader, using a vertical spinning basket/tub, while maintaining top load convenience. Stainless steel inner and outer tubs. No transmission or agitator to replace. Can was 1-2 sets of turnout gear per load. Full wash cycle is 25-35 minutes. Uses an average of 12-16 gallons of water per load (22 gallons with pre-wash). (Hot/cold water line hose not included.) Dimensions: 26" x 27" x 42" Weight: 190 lbs.

ABRASION RESISTANCE: 3x more resistant than Lay Rope, Braid and Double Braid constructions. Offers the highest abrasion resistance of any rope made. CHEMICAL RESISTANCE: Will not mildew. Can be stored wet if necessary. More resistant to most acid- alkaline-petroleum products than natural fibers. HANDLING CHARACTERISTICS: Rope is firm, yet soft enough to be easily tied and can be stuffed into rope bags without effort. Resists kinking and fouling, yet holds knots well. Our Super Lifeline and LimeLine will not stiffen with age or use. SERVICE LIFE: As long as the sheath remains intact, shielding the core from abrasion- contamination, frequent washing with mild soaps will increase service life as it rids rope of abrasive particles. HOSE

The heavy duty fold out frame is made of 1” square tubular steel or aluminum. The liner is made of heavy 22 ounce PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) coated nylon which resists chemical contamination, mildew, rot and ultraviolet exposure. The liner will withstand -40 degree temperatures and severe outdoor exposure. The seams are electronically heat sealed. The 10” discharge tube allows for fast emptying. Yellow liner is standard, red available upon request.

AUTOMATIC AIR EJECT

The Auto Eject is a power input connector designed to be mounted in the side of a vehicle to permit connecting a 120 Volt A.C. shore line. A solenoid connected to the vehicle’s starter is energized when the engine is started and instantaneously drives the plug from the receptacle. This reliable device eliminates forever the broken cables which result when drivers forget to remove the shore line before driving away. Ship weight 2 lbs.

This simple, reliable, solid brass device permits pressurizing the vehicles air pressure system from an external source. Automatically, when the engine is started, the air line is disconnected.
