Cam Spinks is a singer/songwriter from the nearby town of Montevallo. In the last five years, Cam has developed a sound that is sure to make your heart smile, delivering an authentic original sound that promises not to disappoint. All bandmates live in Shelby county, hence the name “the 58s.” His band may be the best kept secret in our area of the country, one that you don’t want to miss.

For over a decade Nationwide Coverage has led the field in live entertainment, rocking stages from Denver to Miami to New York City. They are passionate about making every event special. They love what they do and their audience can tell! The M-80s are an authentic 1980s pop/rock tribute band, playing the best music from the best decade for music. Artists like Michael Jackson, Journey, The Go-Gos, Bon Jovi, Prince, and The B-52s wrote the soundtrack for the ‘80s generation and set the standard for generations to follow. Covering these bands, The M-80s take you back to those glory days. Every song is an instantly recognizable hit, and you’ll most likely know every word to every song they sing.

The Edmonds Butler Band is a Birmingham based group of working musicians who’ve entertained far and wide for many years. Josh, Gary, Eric and Lief deliver a strong taste of Southern Rock, Blues and Soul.

In the Winter of 1977, five friends gathered in a basement in Birmingham and formed one of the most loved bands of its era. After 40 years, Telluride continues to draw generations of endearing fans. Listed as “Musical Achievers” by the Alabama Music Hall of Fame, these Southern Gentlemen of Rock will take you to “Birmingham Tonight.”

Deputy 5 is a Country band based in Birmingham Alabama who has an extensive repertoire of songs ranging anywhere from the latest hits to classic country of the Haggard/Cash era. They’ve also been known to break into a Southern Anthem theme like Sweet Home Alabama if the mood fits.

The Buck Creek Festival is a free, family-friendly community event held on the second weekend of May at Helena’s Amphitheater Park. On the banks of Buck Creek, just below the dam, the heavily wooded site together with the sound stage provides a wonderful venue for people of all ages to enjoy crafts, children’s activities, great food, and fabulous music. Over the past 16 years the festival has returned more than $271,000 back into the community for a variety of projects that benefit the citizens of Helena.

Raised on a steady supply of power-pop and alternative rock, Birmingham’s own Riverbend brings a live show full of mile-wide riffs and impassioned choruses. Formed in 2013 by childhood friends Stanton, Max, Price and Sims, Riverbend delivers a refreshing and original sound that you will not want to miss.

12:20 – 1:25 - HELENA HIGH SCHOOL JAZZ BAND

The Helena High School Jazz Band is comprised of 43 HHS students ranging from grades nine through twelve. The band is a big band style jazz group who plays a variety of styles and genres ranging from big band swing to light rock. Every appearance presents them as ambassadors for the era of “Big Band” music and the city of Helena.
