WINE LIST 2014 We are thrilled to announce that we are now working in partnership with Fine Wine Works. We have worked together to create a list of wines and Champagnes which we regard as essentials and must-have’s. These products are available from both Delicioso and Fine Wine Works, so you’re never too far away from a stock-up or top-up! Our core list shows only a fraction of the wines that we can supply so if you are looking for specific wines or vintages, you need only ask! Prices quoted are in Euros (€) per bottle, and exclude IVA.
If you can’t see exactly what you’re looking for do not be afraid! We can also source any wines your owner or charter guest wishes. Please send any bespoke requests via email to: info@deli-delicioso.com and we will come back to you with a proposal including price, vintage and delivery options.

CORE ROSE WINES Next to Champagne, this is the most sought after category for Wines for Yachts in the Med! It seems no yacht is ever ready to ‘set sail’ without a strong compliment of pinks on board – and of course, it just has to be Provencal! Yes, delightful Rosé wines can be sourced from Spain and elsewhere, but there is just something about those exquisitely pale, St Tropez style rosés that can’t be topped. We have the best in stock and many, many more available if you need anything a bit more specific: Domaine Ott Rosé 2013 24.00€ The epitome of “easy drinking”, this is delicate Provence Rosé done with subtlety and grace. A sunny day on deck and a nice glass of this = heaven! Minuty “Prestige” 2013 18.00€ Always popular, this light rosé is slightly more intense. An excellent aperitif and a very pleasant Provence pink. AIX (we have this exclusively for yachts!!) 2013 15.00€ FWW are delighted to announce sole agency for yachts for this amazing Rosé - it stood out so high above the rest of the crowds when we had our pre-season pink tasting in 2012 we literally fought over who would take the sample bottle home.... Five-star restaurants all over Europe are offering this wine and one sip explains why. This is a brilliant Rosé that you can pair with a ton of food and enjoy all summer long! Ch. d’Esclans “Whispering Angel” 2013 17.00€ A fitting name for a wine with such grace and delicacy. A strikingly pale colour it is made without wood and has a super fresh fruitiness to the taste. (We can easily get the other wines from Ch. d’Esclans too – including the phenomenal “Garrus”!) Ch. Barbeyrolles “Pétale de Rose” 2013 24.00€ If you like your rosé with a bit more depth and body, this wine makes a lovely aperitif. It is also a perfect match for white sauces, fish dishes, smoked salmon, soufflés and Asian cooking. Perfect for a summer's day! Ch. de Chaberts “Bacchus” Rosé 2013 6.50€ This is our house “Party Pink” – great for Crew Wine, on-board Parties, beach BBQ’s – at a ridiculously affordable price!

CORE WHITE WINES A seemingly huge category BUT there are certain whites which are “must haves” on any self-respecting Wine List. We’ve done the hard work and honed this down to a Core List of key wines which always get asked for, and which we know are excellent examples of a particular style or category. If you’re in a rush, these are wines that we will have in stock! For anything else, we have a network of contacts, suppliers and friends who can help us to track down even the most exclusive of wines. Chablis 1er Cru, Joseph Drouhin 2011 29.00€ Refined, crisp and minerally, a good all-round Chablis from a respected producer at a fair price. We can also offer Grand Cru Chablis if a more complex style of cool climate, un-oaked Chardonnay is required. Joseph Drouhin is a consistently reliable name but we can also access Chablis from: William Fèvre, Christian Moreau, Regnard, La Chablisienne, Etienne Boileau, Dauvissat and more.
The Loire valley is home to a couple of big names from the appellations of both Pouilly Fumé and Sancerre – again, your wine offering will look decidedly unbalanced without at least one of these leafy, gooseberry and elderflower scented Sauvignon Blancs: Sancerre “Grandmontains”, Domaine de Laporte 2012 16.00€ A delicate and subtle Sauvignon Blanc in true Sancerre style. Fruity and refreshing – delicious! Pouilly Fumé, Pascal Jolivet 2013 22.00€ One of our favourite producers in the Loire, this is a beautifully simple Pouilly Fumé which slips down an absolute treat. “Baron de L” de Ladoucette, Pouilly Fumé 2009 44.00€ The Baron is much in demand as a premium Loire Sauvignon from acclaimed producer, Ladoucette. Released a little later than most, it is more herbaceous, with deliciously intricate flavours. We also work with: Ch. de Tracey, Henri Bourgeois and Fontaine – Audon
Sauvignon’s other spiritual home is Marlborough New Zealand so we are including both the iconic Cloudy Bay and a crackingly good value option on our Core Whites list too:
Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc 2013 28.00€ Iconic, the benchmark against which all New Zealand Sauvignons are invariably measured. A classic wine which always goes down well! “The Ned” Sauvignon Blanc 2013 16.00€ A cracking party wine; fresh, zesty, citrusy and a lovely grassiness make this a classic New Zealand Sauvignon. Another great option for Crew Wines, parties or a BBQ - at this price you can’t really go wrong!

CORE WHITE WINES Some of the most famous Chardonnay vineyards on the planet are in Burgundy! This is just a tantalising taste from a vast array of appellations, villages, producers, 1er & Grand Crus – we can, with time find what you want but if time is short and your preference is for the richer, more full bodied style of white we have: Meursault, Domaine Bouchard Père et Fils 2009 36.00€ Puligny-Montrachet, Bouchard Père et Fils 2011 40.00€ We make no apology for offering two Bouchard wines here – different styles of Classic White Burgundy, but both utterly reliable and true expressions of their terroir! Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru “Folatieres”, Joseph Drouhin 2010 73.00€ Another great producer of White Burgundy. A lovely blend of stone fruit flavours, and warmer notes of honey and vanilla. We also work with: Louis Jadot, Domaine Faiveley, Louis Latour and many more. We are also experts at hunting down real top end gems from the likes of Domaine Leflaive, Coche Dury, Comtes Lafon for specific requirements. Refreshingly crisp Italian whites are also perennial favourites: Pinot Grigio, Teresa Raiz 2012/13 13.00€ The house PG of FWW – just that little bit more expressive than basic Santa Margherita, from a small family winery in Friuli in North East Italy. Pinot Grigio, Silvio Jermann 2012 22.50€ A beautifully pure, elegant and floral Pinot Grigio. The go-to grape for easy drinking white wine, this wine is slightly fuller bodied than the Teresa Raiz and fits the bill perfectly. Gavi, La Scolca, “Black Label” 2012/13 30.00€ A classic Gavi – crisp and mouth-watering. A really refreshing style of wine, delicious on its own but also a natural partner to seafood, salads and lighter meat dishes. We can also get New World white wines from Australia, USA etc. as well as more obscure European wines such as white Châteauneuf du Pape, Condrieu, Alsace Riesling, and many more.
We also have a great selection of Dessert wines available. Whether you need classic Sauternes, a rich Tokaji, or anything else, just let us know what you need and let us do the rest.

CORE RED WINES So much to choose from around the world – an almost impossible task! But as experts in supplying wines to yachts for the last 5 years, we’ve spotted trends and patterns and have come up with a selection of the most highly sought after. The lure of Pinot Noir remains strong and the Red Burgundy we propose here are from two of the most famous regions in the area. Again we have scoured the cellars of the steadfast and trustworthy M. Drouhin. We also work with Louis Jadot, Domaine Faiveley, Bouchard etc. And will also pursue and secure those rare gems from the likes of Leroy, Comte de Vogüé, Armand Rousseau, DRC et al! Gevrey-Chambertin, Joseph Drouhin 2009 48.00€ Nuits St Georges, Joseph Drouhin 2010 52.00€ M. Drouhin is incredibly consistent and year after year, his wines are a great example of Pinot Noir done incredibly well! Bordeaux – where to start! Arguably the most famous Red wine region in the world, with a myriad of magnificent marvels from dozens of Châteaux. Our main focus when compiling this condensed list of Bordeaux was to ensure that we represented the rich and diverse number of styles that can be found here, some with dark fruited Cabernet Sauvignon dominating, others more mellow Merlot based; classed growths from an assortment of excellent vintages, and a span of price-points. Possibly the most important factor we considered was to ensure that they are all ready to drink NOW! We’ve done the work for you and cellared these wines in a temperature controlled warehouse, nurtured them and cared for them so that they can be delivered, decanted and drunk straightaway!
2000 68.00€ Ch. Chasse Spleen, Moulis The unusual name of this property, undoubtedly the finest estate in Moulis, was created apparently after a visit by Lord Byron and means (loosely) to chase away the blues, how appropriate for such a great wine at a reasonable price! Very muscular with currants, mineral and nutmeg character. Full-bodied and chewy, with a long and lively finish. Ch. d’Armailhac, Pauillac 1996 76.00€ d'Armailhac is never a soft, lightweight option! But here, fully in its stride is a successful and seductive wine, brim-full of mature & supple fruit. Wonderful aromas of ripe fruit, spices, liquorice and fresh herbs. Medium- to full-bodied, with fine tannins and a fresh, clean finish. Balanced and delicious. Ch. Prieure Lichine, Margaux 2000 83.00€ “Undeniably the finest Prieure-Lichine in 30-40 years, this textured, rich, medium to full-bodied 2000 boasts a dark ruby/purple colour in addition to a knock-out nose of black cherries, cassis, tobacco leaf, cocoa, and toasty oak in the background. The wine is sweet on the attack, full-bodied, and welltextured, with oodles of fruit and glycerine. This is sexy stuff that can be drunk early, but will age gracefully for 15-16 years. Anticipated maturity: 2004-2026. Bravo!” Robert Parker (Wine Advocate) 90 points Ch. Bellevue, St Emilion 2000 139.00€ This wine has been catching the eye of wine guru and critic Robert Parker in the US - he gives this vintage a staggering 95+ points! Impressive fruit with crushed plums and spices. Full- to medium-bodied, with super silky tannins and a long, caressing finish. A refined and beautiful wine.

CORE RED WINES Ch. Pavie Macquin, St Emilion 2003 175.00€ Recently promoted in the 2006 St Emilion classification re-shuffle and is a property which has really hit form in the last 10 years, producing first-class wines. Deep, intense colour. Ripe, dark fruit and liquorice nose. Rich layered extract, velvety texture of fruit with a muscular tannic structure. Powerful but ripe and balanced with a long fresh finish. This represents a truly microscopic range of the wines we have both in stock in our France warehouse or what we can get hold of. We have a huge array of contacts, suppliers, sources and distributors for any Bordeaux requirement, any Chateaux, any vintage – just ask!
The Rhône Valley in France is also the home of some super Reds – here we are just offering one of the more recognisable names, but as ever we can effortlessly find others:
Châteauneuf du Pape, Mont Redon 2007 40.00€ From the largest and most important wine appellation in the southern Rhône, this is a deep and brooding wine. A natural partner to lamb, steak or any other rich and full bodied dish. This wine also has a velvety softness which makes it a great wine to sip on its own as well. Italy is the next obvious port of call for classic, demanded and top notch Reds and Tuscany casts a strong spell: Chianti Classico, Marchese Antinori 2010 29.00€ Classic Chianti with hints of sour cherry, and that mouth-watering acidity which make this an ideal partner to a whole range of dishes. Brunello di Montalcino, Pian delle Vigne, Antinori 2007 66.00€ The word Brunello translates roughly as 'little dark one', and is the local name for Sangiovese grown in the area. Softer and more rounded than the neighbouring Chianti’s, this is one of Italy’s most famous wines for a reason! Tignanello 2007 130.00€ “Tiggi”, as she is affectionately known at FWW, is just one of so many Super Tuscans – a brilliant and much sought after collection of wines which bring together Italian flair and International grape varieties - ask and we will source Sassicaia, Ornellaia, Solaia, Masseto, Luce, 50&50 and the rest! Packed full of red and black fruit, this is a sumptuous wine, with velvety soft tannins – absolutely delicious! From the New World, again, we can source top Napa Cabernet (Opus One, Shafer, Caymus), Aussie Shiraz (Grange, Hill of Grace, Torbreck), blockbuster Argentine Malbecs – just about anything your heart could possibly desire! We’ve opted for just two Pinot Noirs from New Zealand for this short Core list – having tried them both, I have no doubt that they will both be crowd pleasers! Cloudy Bay Pinot Noir 2012 34.00€ Another nod to the giants of New Zealand wine making. A vibrant and fruity Pinot which maintains subtlety and grace. Gorgeous stuff. Felton Road “Bannockburn” Pinot Noir 2010 60.00€ Floral, spicy and with no shortage of the summer fruits and berries you would expect. A complex wine, full of intrigue - and immensely drinkable!
