China Business Development Born and raised in Hong Kong, I speak both Mandarin and Cantonese Chinese. When I was 16, my family moved to Bellevue, WA, where I attended Newport High School and later graduated with a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Washington. I met my husband Robert while we were both interning at San Jose, CA. And together we traveled the world, visiting over 40 countries while we lived in California, Maryland and Singapore. When the due date of our second child was approaching, I found out that I could no longer work out at my regular aerobics class. In looking for alternative forms of exercise, I first tried taking walks in the parks, which turned out to be rather boring and it also caused my seasonal allergies to come out at full force. Next, I tried shopping at the mall. That was good fun, but alas, way too expensive. I then had a brilliant idea — I would tour open houses! Little did I know that this was the beginning of my life long passion in real estate! Of course we fell in love with our next home, which turned out to be a very good financial investment.
 
With my sales and marketing background in the IT industry, I naturally became a technologically savvy realtor. Experience in people management taught me to listen to my customers’ needs and honed my negotiation and communications skills. Strong project management skills ensure smooth transactions to closing. Understanding the inventory, expert knowledge of the area and pricing nuances, and experience in negotiating multiple offer situations are also important skills that make me a top producer in the brokerage.
