They’re back!

WOKEFIELD ESTATE Wokefield Estate, like all other hotels, was forced to close its doors in March, but they are bouncing back and have been welcoming golfers and guests since they re-opened back in July.

Set in 250 acres of Berkshire parkland, Wokefield Estate is a truly stunning mansion house hotel originally built in the 1560s. Of course, there have been many renovations over the years, including a £20 million restoration just recently, but you can still feel and see the history all around. The team at Wokefield Estate has been busy during its closure. Next time you visit, you will see that the outside area has been revamped during lock down. They’ve even added a new outdoor pizza oven for those balmy late summer evenings. The new area looks stunning and will delight anyone who is eating or drinking al fresco.

Why not take some time out and enjoy what Wokefield Estate has to offer? You can enjoy a delicious afternoon tea - on the terrace or inside - any day of the week, or enjoy a drink at the 1560 bar on a Friday or Saturday evening. ‘The Avenue’ offers the perfect meeting place for coffee with friends or colleagues, too. For those who prefer to be active, the golf course continues to be a draw and, in these impressive grounds, it’s easy to see why. There really is something for everyone. The team has carefully crafted a range of new safety measures to make sure every moment of your visit is a safe one to enjoy. From meticulous deep cleaning of bedrooms to thoughtful social distancing measures, they offer all the reassurance you need before and during your visit.
