A $96k Sales Month from Building Relationships and Teaching Something I Love, and No Discovery Sessions

You’ve got the training and certification and been through that expensive mastery program and yet you are STILL trying to figure out all kinds of tech to supposedly make it “easier” to book a discovery session, “get a client” and actually turn this expensive hobby into a real business.

You’re lacking confidence that you can really do this and turn it into a real paying career, and you secretly wonder if it’s even possible. You feel like you must be “missing” something, and so you keep chasing the next shiny strategy, course or try to duplicate what you see someone else is doing. You’re piecing it together on your own and in the mode of DO, DO, DO (with no results) and everything feels so complicated and overwhelming.

You hear about opt-ins, sales pages, email sequences, upsells, evergreen courses (no- it’s not as easy as making $$ in your sleep), and you keep getting NO’s when you offer a FREE discovery session, or if you do happen to book one, you're getting many more No’s than yes’. Plus- you are under-pricing yourself and wondering if people will actually pay to work with you.

You got into this field because you’re a soulful and heart-centered wellness coach or practitioner and desire to help people and create a real impact in the world. And yet you’re now feeling like you have to spend more time “SELLING” instead of serving. Trying to “CONVINCE” someone to work with you and it feels out of alignment, icky, sales-y and you just don’t want to do it.

I used to feel like that too. As a matter of fact, I almost gave up and said “I’m out!”

Until I learned that I actually didn’t have to do the things that felt Icky and out of alignment. I didn’t have to DO all the HIGH TECH or give away my time for FREE in a discovery session in order to sell someone into my program.

I could do what I LOVE to do, which is building relationships and serving people. That the way to build a thriving practice is helping people get what THEY want and not about MY program.

I could make people my priority, nurture them and help them create WINS and it naturally translated into working with women I LOVE to serve.

I stopped doing free discovery sessions because it felt like it was a tricky way to try and “SELL” them into a program. Almost like a bait and switch.

First I had to try and “get them” into a free session, and then I had to “sell” them on me and my program. It just wasn’t me and not the way I wanted to build a business. It felt totally out of alignment for me.

Instead- I created a heart-centered system and framework to serve generously first. And by doing business this way, generosity and abundance FLOWED.

Not just the trickle of clients here and there, but CONSISTENT clients thanking me and letting me know how grateful they are to have a new way of showing up authentically and simply to create a wellness practice that leaves them feeling fulfilled and with time to do what they love. Like taking the last week off EVERY month.

As a matter of fact, I am sold out with 1:1 clients for the entire year, my 6-month business accelerator program sold out in 48 hours and has a waiting list, and I take the last week off every month to dive into my own personal development and self-care so I can show up as the empowered feminine leader that makes positive change happen in the world.

A $96K sales month was a celebration and (pop the champagne!) there wasn’t a discovery session or sales call involved. As a matter of fact, I haven't done any of that in over 3 years. When I stopped doing those things, and made people my priority instead, I hit 6-figures in 6 months.

And we crossed the 1M dollar mark back in November. And it doesn’t work just for me. One of my clients just hit a 12k month. The MOST she has ever made in her entire life by following the Soulful Abundance System™ on repeat.

Another client hit 10K in her first month of the program and four months later just welcomed in 10new clients in 1 month.

And another went from bankruptcy to 6 figures in under 12 months. Prior to working with me, they all went through the same mastery program and were both stalled in their business. They had the tools, but it felt hard, sales-y and they didn’t have a simple and repeatable strategy that actually WORKED.

If you’re thinking, “Well, Chris. I’m sure you have a MUCH bigger email list than me!” Or “I don’t have a FB group like you do, or I only have 1000 people in my FB group".

Yeah - your ego mind wants to tell you all the reasons why you can't have those consistent $5k, $10K or $15K months. It does things like that to keep you in your comfort zone. But you don’t actually grow or create your desires in your comfort zone.

I have less than 2,000 on my email list. And, I regularly have clients who have just a few hundred following them for business on social media and a few hundred on their email list and they have hit $10K months too.

Here's the simple “Nurture Your Audience™” strategy we use as part of the Soulful Abundance Blueprint™ ....

1) Connect: with your audience using A few valuable heart-centered messages and/or FB lives that speak directly to your READY YES! client.

Even better- share some FREE value and really help them see a solution to their problem.

2) Nurture: Teach them something they want to learn and help them create wins inside your private Facebook group. Give them an experience of you and build know, like, trust. You can also do this in person by teaching your signature framework or process that allows you to BE the leaders in your field. But ultimately you want to give them a place online to land so they can continue to connect with you.

Invite: Share with them how they can take the next natural step in having the support to implement the pieces you are teaching them so they can have the solution to their problem.

They reach out to you and you have a short message back and forth (a few minutes or less).

You do this inside of your free masterclass or workshop. It allows you to serve 1-many and make free 1-hour discovery sessions irrelevant because they ALREADY know what you do, how you can help them and what the invitation is for.

Enroll: You send them the link for joining you in your offer or you have a quick clarity call on what offer would serve them the best. (mine are scheduled for 20 min and are to answer questions around the program options, or logistics - not coaching).

There is NO convincing or persuading.

No overcoming objections- the false beliefs were already talked about in the workshop so there’s no need. Instead, you get to partner with them and help them get what they want.

Even if that means referring them to someone else. If I don’t feel it’s a good fit, I happily refer them to someone who can help them, or set up some accountability with them to guide them to the next step or a resource that will help them.
