HELM SS2017

With this process in mind we designed the new styles for Spring 2017.

Spring represents growth + a new season of life. It’s a continual rebirth of an already existing natural + organic process - the earth left to it’s own instincts. Ever changing results of altering colors + textures - a seasonal recreation of itself.

Dry dirt that becomes wet soil - beads of morning dew atop the surface. The endless blue sky in its brilliance + depth before the comfort of the midnight pallet covers it like a blanket - patiently knowing the life it brings after the rest.

We used soft suede overlaid on oiled leather in different hues of brown + blue. A custom rough out leather in a brighter natural tone, that is water resistant + lighter in weight.

We continued the use of the durable HELM branded Meramec sole in an off white color making our signature white midsole a touch more discreet + we continue to experiment with richer darker navy blues, this time in a deep dark navy leather + suede.

LANE A nod to some of the original styles of HELM, the Lane pays homage to 1950’s paratrooper boots with added contemporary design. Using texture variation + beautifully contrasting details, the Lane gives this classic make a modern makeover.

MARLON With elements of vintage football boots and derby shoes combined, the Marlon gives a touch of European fashion to these influential styles and puts them into a boot.

It’s contrasting details makes it versatile and allows it to be worn multiple ways, with two sets of laces to take it from modern-rugged to fashionably casual.

PABLO NAVY A new take on the popular Signature style, the Pablo Navy is constructed using Horween Navy Rockford leather. This new shade is a perfect departure from the usual brown or black accessories, giving an added touch of deep blue dimension to any outfit.

Minimal details allow this zip-up boot to be versatile, with a clean profile that can transition easily to fit in wherever you find yourself.

GARZA

With influences from sneaker styles, the Garza’s white laces + HELM White Raptor sole set it apart from the everyday Chukka while giving it added comfort, support + grip.

This lightweight boot will be unique to each wearer as the rough-out upper ages + forms to each individual foot, while retaining its quality by being durable + water resistant.

PETE NAVY A versatile style that can go from the office to happy hour + anywhere in between, the Pete Navy is a new + unique twist on our Signature Collection style.

It still features the cutout in the back for comfort, an echo of our hexagon logo, but it has replaced the original bison panels with a rich navy suede from Tasman.
