Global warming is causing a negative effect on the whole planet and we all need to do something to stop it. The climate is changing frequently and is making the planet hotter in some parts and in other parts it's making it colder. There are two factors affecting global warming. The first types of factors are natural factors like changes in the solar output, changes in the earth's orbit, the green house effect and aerosols. The change in the solar output is the amount of energy radiating from the earth?s sun is not constant. The change of orbit of our planet affects where the sun?s energy is received on earth. We are all enhancing the greenhouse effect by burning fossil fuels such as coal, oil, etc. The carbon dioxide that is dumped in the atmosphere is at s high rate right now. It?s more than it can be withdrawn or absorbed by the oceans or plants. The carbon dioxide is a main factor of climate change. Also the use of land with the replacement of forests with asphalt or concrete for roads. This alters the way the earth?s surface reflects the sunlight and releases the heat. By reducing the world?s forests and woodlands that will cause a tropical deforestation. Atmospheric aerosols are not the same ones as aerosols. They are from agriculture and industrial activities. They are removed from the atmosphere by gravity and rainfall but they still affect the radiation balance in the atmosphere by causing a thinner atmosphere. Global Warming Essay The idea of global became prevalent when the world began industrializing. As the popularity of cars grew and industrial factories began to spring up the air quality suffered. The problem was not recognized because, aside from a few orange skies, there were no obvious effects. For instance, a single volcanic eruption will release amount ofcarbon dioxide and ash to the atmosphere. Methane is also a greenhouse gas. Methane is more effective in trapping heat in the atmosphere that carbon dioxide by 20 times. Usually methane gas can release from many areas. This image evokes an emotional response because it has a baby penguin looking scared behind its mom, while the ice they are on is melting. I selected this image because it caught my eye and then made me read the text, which shows that it is an effective PSA. Central Idea: To discuss global warming. What is causing it? The effects that it has on theearth and its inhabitants? Address possible solutions to lessen the growth of climate change. Many factors can contribute to the cause of changes in Earth's energy. Some changes in climate change are natural. It includes changes in Earth's orbit and the amount of energy coming from the sun. Also, ocean changes and volcanic eruptions are natural causes of climate change. When climate change occurs; there is increase in temperature. When temperature rises, unusual changes occur on Earth. For example, it can result into more floods, droughts, or intense rain, as well as severe heat waves. Oceans and glaciers have also experienced some changes. According to NASA: Sea levels have risen 3 inches and extreme weather in the U.S. has increased by 30 percent. In Greenland and Antarctica, ice sheets have lost 4.9 trillion tons of ice. In addition, human also partake in activities that help destroy the planet. Over the past century global warming trend is also caused by human expansion of the "greenhouse effect"– warming that occurs when the atmosphere traps heat radiating from Earth toward space. The Causes Of Global Warming

What is global warming? Global warming is the average temperature of Earth has increased since 1950 until now the temperature continuing increasing. Global warming can also refers to climate change that causes an increase in the average of temperature. However global warming are caused by natural events and human that are believed to be contribute to increase in average temperatures. The climate has continuously changing for centuries. The global warming happens because the natural rotation of the sun that changes the intensity of sunlight and moving closer to the earth. Another cause of global warming is greenhouse gases. Greenhouse gases are carbon monoxide and sulphur dioxide it trap the solar heats rays and prevent it from escaping from the surface of the earth. This has cause the temperature of the earth increase. Volcanic eruptions are another issue that causes global warming. For instance, a single volcanic eruption will release amount ofcarbon dioxide and ash to the atmosphere. Once carbon dioxide increase, the temperature of earth increase and greenhouse trap the solar radiations in the earth. Finally, methane is another issue that causes global warming. Methane is also a greenhouse gas. Methane is more effective in trapping heat in the atmosphere that carbon dioxide by 20 times. Usually methane gas can release from many areas. For instance, it can be from cattle, landfill, natural gas, petroleum systems, coal mining, mobile explosion, or industrial waste process.
