Hossam El-Din Sallam

Professor Hossam El-Din M. Sallam Completed his B.Sc in Civil Engineering at Zagazig University in 1985 and received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Materials Engineering from Zagazig University. He was a visiting Ass. Prof. for two years in Northeastern University, Boston, USA. He has served as a Teaching Assistant, Ass. Prof., Assoc. Prof. and full professor in 2004 at Zagazig Univ. Recently he appointed as Professor at the department of Civil Eng., Jazan Univ., KSA. Since 1990 his research has focused on several issues including fatigue, fracture mechanics, failure analysis, repair and strengthening of structures, advanced composite materials, nanocomposites, and special concretes. He taught several under- and post-graduate courses in Civil and Mechanical Eng. at several Universities. He supervised a number of graduate students at Civil and Mechanical Engineering in addition to Dentist Materials (more than 30 theses and greater than 100 scientific papers).
