Rosengrens Caribbean is a compact, lightweight data media cabinet, which ensures easy installation, low transport cost and low floor loading. The safes have been tested and certified to withstand a fire for 60 minutes. Caribbean has a smooth design, is elegant and ergonomic with its user friendly handles. A variety of fi ttings are available to suit the various media to be stored. Caribbean is supplied with a key lock as standard, an electronic code lock is optional. The cabinet fi ts under or beside the desk and with its compact design maximises the inner usable volume.

Fire protection: The Caribbean data media cabinet has been tested and approved to EN 1047-1 and certified by ECB•S to the fire resistance of S 60 DIS, which means 60 minutes fire protection. Caribbean also holds an American UL certificate to the Class 125 1H with fire and impact, which means 60 minutes fire protection. Locks: Caribbean is supplied with a key lock as standard, an electronic lock is optional. Whichever the choice, the locks provided are of high security. The door is of a slam action type and when closed provides full fire protection even though not locked. Design: Caribbean’s smooth design is elegant and ergonomic with its user friendly handles. The colour is off-white RAL 9002 with a dark grey handle and stripe. Caribbean can be prepared for base-fixing. Interior fittings: A variety of fi ttings are available to suit the various types of media to be stored ranging from CD/DVD:s, ZIP-drives to DLT tapes. The flexible shelf dividers are adjustable to take maximum advantage of the space available. All fi ttings are rounded to avoid sharp corners. Model The Secure Disc is available in two models. Secure Disc 36 is a dedicated computer media protection cabinet and specially designed to equip CD/DVDs. Secure Disc 52 is a larger unit that has one section for computer media protection and a separate section, with a shelf, for document protection. Rosengrens Polaris is the new generation of data media cabinets, tested and certified to withstand a fire for 2 hours. The cabinets also provide certified burglary protection. Rosengrens Polaris offers maximum capacity in the minimum of space with an extensive range of interior fittings. As methods of storing and managing information have evolved, data media have become more sophisticated and widespread. Data media, however, are still incredibly sensitive and over time can be irreparably damaged by the effects of temperature, humidity, dust and light. To protect your data media from these risks, Fichet-Bauche has created the fire-resistant data media range, Diva.

Magnetic media is destroyed at temperatures exceeding only 50 °C and paper combusts at 170 °C.

Locks

The Diva range has five lightweight, elegantly designed sizes, all offering maximised storage capacity and a selection of interior fittings. The safes, with their door-bolting assistance system and centrally positioned handle and locks, have been ergonomically constructed for optimal ease-of-use.

Diva cabinets have been designed to be equipped with Fichet-Bauche’s patented mechanical and electronic locks. The locks, all of which are A2P/EN 1300 certified, can be fitted either individually or in conjunction with one another.

Fire Protection Diva meets the requirements of the internationally recognised EN 1047-1 standard and is certified by ECB•S (European Certification Board•Security Systems) in the fire resistance class S 120 DIS, indicating two hours of data media fire protection. This guarantees that your data media benefit from the highest level of protection currently available.

Burglary Protection Diva cabinets are burglary tested in accordance with the European norm EN 14 450 and certified by ECB•S in Grades S1 and S2.

MxB – level B/E – is a high-security mechanical lock. Due to the innovative shape and design of the key, over 10 million different possible keys can be manufactured, making replication extremely difficult. For added security, a blocking system prevents the key from being removed until the door has been properly locked. The Moneo mechanical combination lock – level B/E – permits several million different codes. Its scramble-upon-opening feature ensures that the dials are automatically reset to 0 after each usage. The Nectra electronic lock – level B/E – generates more than 110 million different code combinations and offers several levels of functionality. The standard version has 1 master code and 2-7 user codes, wrong-code blocking, time delay and a duress alarm. This can be upgraded with the audit trail function (which records up to 500 events) and a biometric digital fingerprint reader.

A range of interior fittings is available for Diva data media cabinets so that you can make maximum use of the space and organise the cabinet’s contents to best suit your requirements. Fire Testing Procedure

Fire Endurance Test Diva is placed in an oven and heated for two hours (corresponding to S 120 DIS) in accordance with the international time temperature curve. After having been heated, the cooling period begins. From the moment the burners have stopped and the temperature in the cabinet starts to fall, the cooling period is a minimum of 12 hours.

Thermal Shock and Impact Test First the oven is heated to 1090 °C and a new cabinet is placed inside for exposure to the extreme heat. The oven is heated to 1090 °C for 45 minutes. After being removed from the oven, the cabinet is raised 9.15 metres from the ground and dropped onto a bed of pebbles. Then, after a 20-minute period of natural cooling, the cabinet is placed back inside the furnace for an additional period of heat exposure, this time at a temperature of 840 °C. The final cooling period is the same as that for the fire endurance test.

Once tested, products are analysed by the test laboratory in order to verify that they correspond to the technical drawings delivered prior to the test.

Fichet-Bauche Technology Diva cabinets benefit from the latest Fichet-Bauche fireproof technology. Thanks to the material used, the design of the seals and their “mono-block” construction, Diva cabinets guarantee a stable temperature and humidity level to keep your data media safe.

• A fire-resistant composite material called Mirium, patented by Fichet-Bauche, provides extra light and enhanced thermal insulation. Due to its reinforced cellular structure, this material offers remarkable mechanical integrity in the event of an impact or drop.

• The joints of the safe are equipped with several levels of seals to prevent the entry of flames, hot gases, dust and humidity.

• Galvanised steel protects against corrosion.

In order to obtain certification, Diva has passed fire endurance, thermal shock and impact tests. Diva has proved its exceptional fire resistance in accordance with the EN 1047-1 standard. Fire Testing The data media cabinet DataPlus+ is tested and certified by ECB•S according to the European standard EN 1047-1 in class S 120 DIS for two hour’s fire protection. The test is carried out in two parts.

Rosengrens CoolIT är en serie stöldskyddande ventilerade säkerhetsskåp för nätverksserver och annan IT-utrustning. Skåpen är testade och certifierade att motstå inbrott enligt Svensk Standard SS3492. Därtill skyddar CoolIT-serien mot damm vilket är en av de vanligaste orsakerna till datahaveri och därmed förlust av vital information. As the virtual landscape of the business world expands, more and more of a company’s vital information is being stored digitally. In order to give this valuable data media the protection it deserves, Fichet-Bauche has developed the Vulcane range of fireproof cabinets.

Magnetic media is destroyed at temperatures exceeding only 50 °C and paper combusts at 170 °C. A fire can easily reach temperatures of 1 200 °C.

Product Overview

Fire Protection

Vulcane is available in two sizes with a wide range of interior fittings. The cabinets have been designed to be low in weight and to provide excellent fire protection. With its compact dimensions, Vulcane will easily fit into any modern office space – the 40-litre model, for example, is small enough to fit under a desk. The cabinet is also simple and quick to use. In an emergency, its slam action allows the door to be swiftly closed and sealed.

Vulcane meets the requirements of the internationally recognised EN 1047-1 standard and is certified by ECB•S (European Certification Board•Security Systems) in the fire resistance class S 60 DIS indicating one hour of data media fire protection.

Locks Vulcane cabinets have been designed to be equipped with a Fichet-Bauche patented mechanical or electronic lock. The locks can be fitted either individually or in conjunction with one another. The M3B – level B – is a high-security mechanical lock. Due to the innovative shape and design of the key, over 10 million different possible keys can be manufactured, making replication extremely difficult. For added security, a blocking system prevents the key from being removed until the door has been properly locked. The LG Basic is a high-security electronic lock with numeric keypad and wrong-code blocking.

Fire Testing Procedure

Fichet-Bauche Technology

In order to obtain certification, Vulcane has passed fire endurance, thermal shock and impact tests. Vulcane has proved its exceptional fire resistance in accordance with the EN 1047-1 standard. Exposed to flames hotter than 1000 °C during the testing procedure, Vulcane successfully protected data media which, without protection, cannot survive temperatures more than 50 °C.

Vulcane cabinets benefit from the latest Fichet-Bauche fireproof technology. Thanks to the material used, seal design and their “mono-block” construction, Vulcane cabinets guarantee a stable temperature and humidity level to keep your data media safe.

A fire-resistant composite material called Mirium, patented by Fichet-Bauche, provides extra-light and enhanced thermal insulation. Due to its reinforced cellular structure, this material offers remarkable physical integrity in the event of an impact or drop.

The joints of the safe are equipped with several levels of seal to prevent the entry of flames, hot gases, dust and humidity.

Galvanised steel protects against corrosion.

Fire Endurance Test Vulcane is placed in an oven and heated for one hour in accordance with the international time temperature curve. After having been heated, the cooling period begins. From the moment the burners have stopped and the temperature in the cabinet starts to fall, the cooling period is a minimum of one hour.

Fichet-Bauche Guarantee

Thermal Shock and Impact Test First the oven is heated to 1090 °C and a new cabinet is placed inside for exposure to the extreme heat. The oven is heated to 1090 °C for 22.5 minutes. After being removed from the oven, the cabinet is raised 9.15 metres from the ground and dropped onto a bed of pebbles. Then, after a 20-minute period of natural cooling, the cabinet is placed back inside the furnace for an additional 22.5 minutes of heat exposure, this time at a temperature of 840 °C. The final cooling period is the same as that in the fire endurance test.

Fichet-Bauche products are designed and manufactured in accordance with the ISO 9001 standard for Quality Management Systems and ISO 14000 for Environmental Management Systems. All Vulcane cabinet components are tested by the Fichet-Bauche laboratory in compliance with current European standards.

Test Verification Once tested, products are analysed by the test laboratory in order to verify that they correspond to the technical drawings delivered prior to the test.
