P1 Garbage Disposal System Foreword: Full capacity landfill

Xi ‘an city current site analysis

Xi ‘an’s only landfill will be full by September 2019. By then, Xi ‘an’s garbage will have nowhere to go! Xi ‘an has decided to start a garbage disposal project. This design first analyzes the difficulty of garbage classification about citizen’s role. Secondly, a systematic design is proposed.

Jianggou village

Q1: What role will the citizen play? Destroyer

Destroyers oppose garbage disposal and will deliberately disrupt the order. Scope of pollution

Based on the questionnaire

Free rider

Free riders seldom sort garbage and enjoy the fruits of others’ garbage disposal.

Activist

Activits will voluntarily do garbage sorting out of habit.

Stakeholder

They can realize the benefits of garbage sorting and start to influence others.

Driven by concept and system perfection, people change from destroyer to acticist. The shades represent the density of people

Q2: Why do we need system design? Lack of systematic thinking will bring all kinds of problems. In the analysis, the study divided the time of garbage classification into three stages. The three stages show the process from imperfection to perfection in the way of prediction.

Three periods Advancing Period: Garbage trucks need to pick up the garbage one by one and send it directly to the only garbage Landfill.

Choatic Period: Four garbage landfills, garbage trucks are divided into two areas to collect garbage.

Classified Period: According to the principle of proximity, according to the size of the pipeline to four garbage landdills.

Local system analysis Classified period

Taking a standard area for example, the area contains an Office, a Residdential Area, an Urban Village and a Transfer Station. In this system, three residential areas deliver garbage to the transfer station through pipelines, where the usable garbage is turned into power, and the unusable garbage is transferred to the urban loop pipeline.

Daily properties: Emphasize the needs of everyday life. Private property: Emphasize the invisibility of garbage. Reprocessing property: Emphasis is placed on the ability to recycle and utilize resources in a timely manner.

In this specific site, it is necessary to build a unique garbage classification system and its buildings according to the most urgent needs of different land types. We will first determine what kind of building we are going to build through three property analy-

The design is to install a large collecting tank underground and collect water on the ground through invisible channels under four corners. In addition, the design also use the underground type trash can.

Transfer stations

Inspired by the garbage passage in the old residential area and the demand for beauty, a hidden garbage passage should be designed to lead to the passage naturally.

Vertical elevator garbage system The vertical elevator garbage system is mainly used to deal with takeout delivery and garbage disposal in office buildings. Therefore, the system is divided into two parts: one is the garbage down treatment system; The second is the take-out upward processing system.

P3 Alive Museum Residential Analysis This design is aimed at the Asian cultural circle. In order to show its cultural and architectural characteristics, the ancient buildings less than ten centuries ago are selected as the prototypes for analysis. This design selects the cave dwelling on the Loess Plateau of China, the Kandovan of Turkey and the Yayoi house of Japan as sample. I hope to extract the design language of the museum through analysis.

Diagram Combination After extracting profiles, in order to form a complete diagram of the terrain, different profiles are abstracted in this design. According to different axes, these extracted profiles are combined with each other to form the five diagrams above.

Section The building Section is made up of three main sections: the circular theatre on the left, the exhibition area in the middle, and the lobby on the right.

P4 Membrane Green House This design starts from the bubble study in order to see the tension of the membrane structure. Considering the function of the greenhouse, the membrane structure is applied as the roof of the building. This design tries to combine the tectonic and functional use and serve for community ultimately.
