People may not know where Cambodia is, however when reminding about one of the World Heritages “Angkor Wat”, they will surprisingly notice that this is where people dream to visit once in a life time. Nevertheless, you may not only want to go to Cambodia just because of that, there are many more amazing and breath-taking sites located in the territory of Cambodia, which words cannot be described. Of course, rising from the southern portion of the Indochina Peninsula in Southeast Asia, Cambodia is officially known as “the Kingdom of Wonder”. The country itself owns a very long history and culture throughout the decades, which people always doubt and wish to explore what those wonders are.
Now AIESEC IFL, a Local Committee of AIESEC Cambodia, is pleased to introduce you the opportunity to come to Cambodia through exchange experiences. With AIESEC exchange experience, you will not only just come and visit Cambodia, but to also get involved directly and impact Cambodian society in a positive way that you could never imagine possible. We would like to take this chance to introduce you one of our projects that we provide. The chances are all yours to decide now!!!
Nurturing the Future Generations is a project run by Cambodian AIESEC members and also international members of AIESEC. We hold to the belief that every child, no matter age, ability or social status, deserves equal opportunity for a quality education. Together with the school, we hope that we are able to contribute positive impacts towards Cambodian society.

• Be able to teach 6-7 hours per day. • Interns will assist in teaching pre-school and kindergarten classes for children aged 2-6 years old. • Interns have to make the study environment more relaxing but effective and fun for the students. Interns need to demonstrate a fun learning environment so that both sides can make use of the class. • The method of instruction would follow the outlined of a typical kindergarten providing the children with group and individual activities, supervised and involved play time and conversation activities.
• In most cases the volunteer will be the teacher assistant or act as the substitute teacher on occasion. All lessons content shall be prepared for them in advance; the interns may be required to supervise a class for brief periods of time without the help of head teacher and act an assistant. • All lesson content and teaching material is provided on location. The intern will be required to participate in material preparation (Ex. colored paper, ruler, marker, stickers, etc.) for their individual use in class. • Schools will be the TN of the internship which means interns need to obey and abide by the rule of the institution. TN takers will take care of inters during internship, while AIESECers will keep constant communication with EPs. • EPs are required to write a project evaluation and a report at the end of their internship.

I love to travel, but definitely, going on exchange with AIESEC is a completely different experience. When people say they go on exchange to travel, find themselves, et cetera, I usually do not believe them, but because of this activity, I finally realized that travelling alone can change you. After a lengthy trip abroad, one cannot go back home as exactly the same person. I know, because as cheesy as it may sound, I think I left bits and pieces of my heart scattered around Cambodia, in places I’ve grown fond of and with people I’ve learned to love. Aragon Christine, the Philippines
To conclude my experience, I can say that it was a great experience and I was able to learn a lot that I can use in the future. If I would have the chance and opportunity to go on an exchange program again, I would not even have second thoughts and just go for it! Faye Castillo, the Philippines
