About HMarie Jewelry offers beautiful and trendy fashion jewelry at affordable prices. All pieces are designed and handmade in upstate New York. HMarie Jewelry is an animal and environmentally friendly brand and we do not use any animal products or natural coral that damage our ecosystem. However, we do love to use natural materials such as gemstones and wood in our designs.
I am the founder, designer and creative director at HMarie Jewelry. I have been designing jewelry since 2008. At first it was a hobby, then selling to friends and family, then selling at local boutiques and gift shops and now, a worldwide online shop. I have always loved to create. I could keep busy for hours turning old into new, creating a painting or drawing, decorating my house and then redecorating it, etc. Designing jewelry is where my passion is, there is unlimited possibilities for creativity. And, I finally found “MY DREAM” job. Yeah!

I love the free spirited, colorful look and feel of the Boho Style that has become so popular lately. However, I am not fond of the abundant use of leather, bone, feathers, furs, etc that many designers use. There is no beauty in animal suffering and death so that humans can drape their remains all over themselves. With so many vegan leather (aka faux leather) options available, I was able to create cruelty free, beautiful and trendy jewelry. Using vegan leather in my designs is one way to help animals, donating much needed funds to reputable organizations is another. My favorite part of designing a collection for an animal organization is the pure satisfaction of knowing that I can make a living being breath a little easier with my work. And, I thank you all for making that possible.

Yummy - Only Four Ingredients - Vegan - Gorgeous - EASY

1½ cup flour + 1-2 tablespoons for dusting ½ cup peanut butter ½ cup (1 small) apple pealed and shredded in food processor or ½ cup no sugar added apple sauce No sugar added strawberry jelly (Do Not use grape jelly, it is toxic to dogs, Do Not use any jelly with artificial sweeteners) Few tablespoons of water
3’’ dog bone cookie cutter and 1” dog bone cookie cutter. You can use any shape, as long as there is a large and small shape, I don’t think the dogs will mind a round or heart shaped treat.
Preheat oven to 350°. Mix the flour, peanut butter and shredded apple (or apple sauce) add water as needed to blend all ingredients thoroughly until dough is formed. Wrap dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least an hour. On a floured surface roll dough out to about half of a ¼ inch and cut out equal number of large dog bone shapes shapes. Cut a small dog bone shapes in every other large dog bone cookie. You will need one solid large dog bone and one large dog bone with center cut out for one cookie. Spread a thin layer of strawberry jelly over the entire solid cookie and and a cut out cookie on top of it. You can add a little more jelly to the center if you would like. Bake cookies for 12-15 minutes, let cool completely before serving. Don’t throw away the left over dough. Bake them with the linzer cookies, they are great peanut butter treat as well.

DIY Handwriting Tassel Key Rings A personalized gift is always more meaningful than any other gift you can buy. These personalized key rings make wonderful cherished small gifts. They are easy, fun and very inexpensive to make. Most supplies you may already have and all others can be purchased at your local craft store or online. Making these gifts with your children will also teach them the true meaning of giving gifts from the heart.
Items you will need: Wooden shapes (available at craft stores in many fun shapes, hearts, stars, anchors, dogs, etc..) Embroidery thread (any color you like) Key rings Sharpie Acrylic paint Paint brush Large 15mm jumpring 7mm jumpring Jewelry pliers
Directions: 1. Paint the wood shapes and let dry (please note that some do not have holes drilled in them and you will need a drill to add holes, if you do not have power tools to drill a hole, there are many wooden shapes with pre drilled holes in them). 2. Make the tassel, one pack of embroidery thread will make two large tassels. 3. Have your child sign the painted wood shape with a simple signature or a loving wish or message. 4. Attach all pieces to the key ring with the large 15mm jumpring and you are all done.
