The Royal Battle

By Jaelin Thompson and Lynzie Lyle Once upon a time, there was a prince that lived in a castle made of crystals. On his 18th birthday, the prince was destined to fight the infamous deadly castle serpent in order to claim his throne. The serpent was not just any serpent though. He was 100 feet tall and the color of coal. He had lived 4000 years and beaten many princes whom had attempted before. In preparation, the prince did 100 push-ups and ran around the crystal castle until he could no longer run anymore.

After the prince got some rest, he went out to the battlefield to face the serpent. Standing 100 feet tall, the creature towered over the prince.

Nevertheless, he did not cower in its presence. When the fight began, the serpent swooped down and tried to strike the prince, but he was ready for it and lifted his sword high above his head as he moved out of the serpent’s line of strike. Then, the prince brought all of the force of his sword down upon the creatures neck and severed its head, gaining his rightful spot as king. The new King gloriously sat down upon his throne and ruled over all of his loving subjects. The End!

Road Trip Adventures By: Eric Rawls My friends and I decided to take a break from the bathroom and go on a trip to Mexico.

It will be an awesome adventure! With our backpacks full of water and a map, we headed to the nearest airport so we could rent a plane. We flew for 20 hours, and stopped off at Mexico for a quesadilla break and to get some sleep. The next morning we hiked up a Jaguar trail and met some really fun people who taught us how to walk the trail, we ended up staying for mountain dew and then made our way back on the road. It started raining so we knew it would cause a storm, next thing we had to do was to jog

our way to the nearest house. Before we knew it, it was raining

cats and dogs. We all hitched a ride in the back of a truck until the rain stopped, we dried off at a grocery store and freshened up in their workroom. Then I noticed I left my bag behind! We needed our phone and stuff! We were so upset that we ended up having to buy a Tracfone at the sketchy walmart across the street. After a tense and unrelaxed picnic by the ocean, we asked a nice man if we could borrow his boat so we could get to the next town, he reluctantly said yes. The ride was tiring, we saw sharks and whales along the way, we even picked up a fisherman who offered fish! It was a boring and tiring trip!

If You Give a Pig BBQ A story by Cody Norton, Caitlin Razuri, Ashley Wilhelm, and Meredith Greene If you give a pig BBQ, she will ask you for some apple juice. When you give her the apple juice, she will want to go to the playground.

When she is finished playing at the playground, she will have another BBQ picnic. Then, she will want to watch a movie and take a nap. That won’t work out, so then she will want to go to Six Flags.

On your way, she will see a dog and want to play with it. Then, you will have to bring them to the pet store and she will adopt the dog.

When she’s done, she will ask you for some fried chicken.

On the way home, she will want to play a game of Uno. When you finally get home, she will want some strawberry milk. Of course, when she asks for this, you will have to find sweet tea and a four wheeler. When she sees the four wheeler, she will want to ride it. Then, she will, once again, ask you for some BBQ. And if you give a pig BBQ, chances are, she is going to want some apple juice too.

A Cool Costume By: Nyla Elliott & Jade Naughton Nyla and Eric went to the school to learn about science. When they got to the school they saw a dog. The dog was wearing a coat and a pair of pants. The pants were navy blue and the coat was pink. Nyla and Eric took the dog home and played soccer.

When they started playing soccer, the dog started to play soccer too! The dog was actually Nyla’s brother Justin in an animal costume. He tricked us all along. We all fell down in giggles and then went inside to watch the brand new Lego Movie.

Today is My Birthday !

By: Ariana Davis & Kaitlyn Reynolds Today is my 19th birthday. I woke up this morning to my cat licking my face. My mom came in my room and told me breakfast was ready. For breakfast, I had pizza with milk. It was my favorite. She told me to wear my new purple shirt today. We went to Berry Mango’s and they gave me 8 balloons! I was so happy.

We went home so I could open up my presents. I opened the pink box and found an Ipod. I loved it! I then ate my purple grape flavored cake with 7 candles. It was the best birthday ever!

The Wooden Castle

BY Dylan and Enrik Once upon a time, there was a young Castle that rose far above the rest, his fine wood finish marking him as different from his companions. It was foretold that on the castles 18th birthday he was destined to fight a fearsome bird. With the help of his fellow companion Dylan the young Castle fought the bird, but the bird proved to cunning and they were forced to retreat. To help them Dylan called on his friend Miranda. They trained on a strict regimen 100 push-ups and sit-ups a day and a run around the young castle. When the fight was to happen again the bird had brought his own companion being the monkey. They fought a great and long battle, the young castle taking on a few blows with Dylan and Miranda none the better, but in the end they bested the bird and monkey. When they returned home the castle, Dylan, and Miranda were all presented a crown and all accepted the gift with tears in their eyes and took a seat on their new thrones. The End!

Jimmy’s First Pet A story by Kellon and Hannah

Jimmy always wanted a pet hamster. He asked his mom to get him one so he could have a new friend. She said yes so they got in the car and went to the pet store. They had lots of adorable hamsters ready to be taken home with a new family. Jimmy pressed his face on the glass to look at a pink hamster. The pet store worker said that this one was a girl. She was so fluffy! He knew this was the one for him. Jimmy took his new pet home, she sat in his lap for the whole ride home. When Jimmy got home he let his new pet get used to her cage and her new home. She ran on her hamster wheel and drank from her water bottle. She seemed nervous to play with Jimmy. Jimmy thought she would want to play more so he was kind of sad. But Jimmy’s mom said it would take time for his new pet to get comfortable. At dinner, Jimmy and his parents talked about names for his new pet. After lots of thinking, Jimmy named her Hannah!

“Two Snowmen” By RJ Potter Yesterday, Sean walked into the park and was concerned about the two snowmen discussing the upcoming heat wave.

Sean thought to himself, “I need to help these snowmen stay alive. I can’t let them melt.”

Sean took the two snowmen back to his house and he left his freezer open all night so the snowmen would stay alive.

Little did sean know, the freezer turned his house into a blizzard. His home was covered in snow and the snowmen were still alive. Sean could not stand the cold so he cleaned up the blizzard, put the snowmen into the freezer and saved the snowmen until next winter so they would not melt.

A Summer Day By: Crystal Mink One day when the sun was up and shining, I decided to go outside and play. The grass was dry and super green! My sister Jessica decided to enjoy the sunny day with me.

We decided to get wet in the sprinklers! My friend RJ eventually came over and joined in on the fun.

A Cool Costume

By: Dylan Delair, Jack Thompson, and Ian Williams Jack, Dylan, and Ian went to the red Power rangers house. The red power rangers favorite game was tip ball, and he invited them over to play. When they got to his house Jack, dylan, and Ian were ready to play tip ball with their favorite ball. When they got to the red power rangers house all they found was a General Commander.

But the General commanders really wanted to play tip ball, so Jack, Dylan, and Ian started to play. When they started playing Tip Ball, the general commanders started to Jump everywhere like crazy.

The General commanders were actually the red power ranger in a Commander costume. They tricked us all along.

A New Day

This year, my family is moving to Forks, Washington .

My mom made hot dogs for the road trip. It’s my favorite!

Yesterday, I said goodbye to my best friend Bella. She wrote me a letter. It said, “I love you, Ashley. I’m going to miss you so much!”

My mom gave me a Mountain Dew. I looked out the window and saw a deer. I found out that my dad was already at home. We decided to meet him there. When we pulled in I saw him wearing a black shirt with a red bag.

“Hi, Ashley! Let’s go to our new home!”
