Whether you are a practice or lab owner, this course is designed to arm you with the basics of dental 3D printing with an understanding of the science behind it along with practical hands-on experience in printing everything from basic models to occlusal splints and surgical guides.
The course is developed to provide an overview of basic design modeling from 3Shape and Medit and offer suggestion to those who would like to use AI design software.
You will learn about the different types of 3D printers including Asiga, Ackuretta, NextDent and Formlabs and what each brand has to offer, by seeing these live in action!
That will be followed by a demo of washing and curing the printed appliances to highlight the importance of the postprocessing steps and provide you with a solid understanding of the entire 3D print workflow.
In the end, you will walk away from this course with the confidence of setting up your own design in the printer software, print the most common appliances with the knowledge of basic troubleshooting and complete the workflow with the correct post processing techniques for flawless printed appliances.
