Cincinnati, Ohio – EXAIR's new Soft Grip Back Blow Safety Air Gun uses the smallest back blow nozzle available to deliver a blast of air to effectively blow debris and liquids from inside small pipe or hose diameters, channels, bores, holes, internal threads, and other internal part features. The ergonomic design of the air gun keeps the operator's hand in a comfortable position so it can be used for hours of continuous use without fatigue. An array of holes on the Model 1004SS M4 Back Blow Air Nozzle provides a forceful back-facing 360° airflow to clear out coolant, chips, and light oils from machining processes. This nozzle prevents blowing chips further into a part, tube, or pipe and eliminates any safety hazard created by blowing debris out the far end of a pipe or tube. Air consumption is only 4.5scfm at 80psig with a sound level of 75dBA. The nozzle is manufactured to clean inside openings as small as 1/4" (6mm) and up to 1" (25mm). It is constructed of type 316 stainless steel to provide durability and superior resistance to corrosion. The air gun with nozzle is OSHA and CE compliant. Safety Air Guns with Back Blow Nozzles are available for cleaning diameters up to 16" (406mm). Chip Shields to protect the operator from the exiting debris are included with the Soft Grip, VariBlast Compact and Heavy Duty Back Blow Safety Air Guns. Extension pipes from 6" (152mm) to 72" (1829mm) are available to provide reach for longer tube and pipe clean out.

Satair and Honeywell Aerospace officials have signed an agreement to distribute Honeywell‟s JetWave high-speed in-flight connectivity system to a wide segment of the global business jet market. The JetWave communication system operates and communicates with the Inmarsat satellite network to deliver high-speed Internet into the cabin to connect multiple Page 6 of 29
devices. It allows travellers to keep in touch with their business teams, stream live TV, and join video conferences to give global connectivity from take-off to touchdown. Satair will be distributing JetWave to Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) and India-based Honeywell dealers, as well as Part 145 MRO and repair facilities that will undertake the installation work and are not part of the Honeywell network. Because Satair has invested in a large pool of full ship sets of JetWave stock and will hold inventory of all Honeywell JetWave components, it will be able to offer immediate delivery to give an enhanced service to ease the management of the installation. This new agreement with Honeywell Aerospace for the business jet market, builds on several other product lines that Satair also distributes to this sector. This includes the global management of the ADS-B Out upgrade program on Honeywell Primusequipped business aircraft and the global distribution of several Honeywell Sensing product lines. Initium Aerospace will create high value for customers, combining the best technologies and services of Boeing and Safran to offer a more competitive APU in the marketplace CHICAGO and PARIS, Feb. 13, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Boeing [NYSE: BA] and Safran [EPA: SAF] today announce the name of their 50-50 joint venture to design, build and service Auxiliary Power Units (APUs): Initium Aerospace. From its Latin roots, initium means 'the beginning' or 'to start.' This is what an APU is and does when it provides the power to start the main aircraft engines and systems on the ground and, if necessary, in flight. Initium Aerospace starts with Boeing's customer and airplane knowledge and Safran's experience designing and producing complex propulsion systems. Potrivit lui Marius Borcan, angajatii sunt cu salariile la zi, iar comenzile necesare pentru o buna functionare sunt acoperite.
Totodata se fac demersuri pentru obtinerea baniilor necesari investitiei, pentru a putea achizitiona acele bunuri necesare dotarii tehnice a uzinei. Marius Borcan, presedinte de Sindicat in cadrul UM Sadu La ora actuală, Uzina Mecanica Sadu are peste 100 de angajați, iar potrivit lui Marius Borcan nu vor mai exista disponibilizari.

Cyber defenders from across the Alliance have a new community where they can exchange information, share best practices and work together in an encrypted workspace with secure video, voice, chat and information gathering capabilities. The community was launched today (12 February 2019) by the NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCIA). Computer emergency response teams from five countries are already connected to NATO‟s protected business network: Belgium, France, Netherlands, United Kingdom, and United States. Access to the network will roll out to all 29 Nations later this year. The launch of the cyber defenders‟ community is the first step toward the creation of an information hub for Allies, called the Cyber Security Collaboration Hub. This initiative was announced last year by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, who said that one of NATO‟s key roles in cyber space is “to act as a hub for information sharing, training and expertise”. The future hub will not require additional funds or staff, or changes in policy. The collaboration is facilitated through existing Memorandums of Understanding with NATO Nations.

Under the new contract, Leonardo will continue to support the delivery of cyber-security capabilities to the NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCI Agency) for a further 18 months Leonardo will provide support services assisting the NCI Agency in protecting NATO users at 75 sites, in 29 countries across the Alliance from cyber-attacks Leonardo’s commitment to excellence in cyber security is identified in the Company’s 2018-2022 industrial plan as a driver of sustainable growth Leonardo has signed an 18-month contract with the NCI Agency which will see the Company continue to deliver cyber-incident detection and management capabilities. The new NATO Computer Incident Response Capability (NCIRC) Cyber Security Support Services (CSSS) contract provides continuity of service to the NCIRC – Full Operational Capability (FOC) contract which ends in February 2019. Since February 2012, Leonardo has worked in partnership with the NCI Agency to protect NATO’s Communications and Information System (CIS) infrastructure from cyber-attacks, thus significantly assisting in the support to NATO missions. A combined Leonardo and NCI Agency staff of around 200 digital Page 10 of 29
security experts provide cyber incident detection, management and rapid-response capabilities around the clock, covering NATO staff in 29 countries. Protection extends from portable devices up to networks at 75 sites including NATO Headquarters. NCIRC-FOC has also been operationally employed to successfully protect the NATO summits in 2014, 2016 and 2018. The NCIRC CSSS contract follows the successful operation of the NCIRC-FOC over a number of years and a deepening relationship between Leonardo and NCI Agency. In 2015, NCIRC-FOC expanded under the 10 Additional Sites contract to cover newly-opened European headquarters. This contract was completed to budget, specification and on schedule in 2017. In 2016, the two organisations signed an Industrial Partnership Agreement (IPA) to share cyber security information, with the mutual goal of better understanding threat patterns and attack trends. In addition to delivering cyber security expertise to NATO, Leonardo also supports individual nation states, large corporations including defence companies and financial institutions. In September 2017, the Company announced that it had been selected by the European Space Agency (ESA) as the cyber security partner for the Galileo European navigation satellite programme. Leonardo is also active in the Gulf and South-East Asia, working with government and industry customers. Leonardo continues to invest in its cyber expertise. The cyber services and products in the Company’s portfolio are designed to evolve in-line with the ever-changing cyber battlefield. To ensure its customers maintain their cyber skills, Leonardo offers certified training as well as Cyber Academy and Cyber Range design and delivery, allowing specialists to exercise against new and emerging threats. 5G is becoming a reality. Rohde & Schwarz will present its test solutions for 5G base stations and the associated massive MIMO antenna arrays and amplifiers at Mobile World Congress 2019. Highlights include signal analysis and signal generation solutions for 5G base station tests in the millimeterwave range and an innovative OTA test solution. It is the first solution worldwide that allows the far-field properties of 5G antenna arrays to be characterized at short distances. A cloud based test solution for automated 5G production tests will also be on display. As a leading provider of test and measurement equipment for the connected world of today and tomorrow, Rohde & Schwarz offers test solutions for the new 5G mobile communications standard – for example for generating and analyzing 5G NR Page 11 of 29
signals in line with the latest 3GPP specifications (Version 15.2.0). 5G New Radio (NR) specifies new frequency bands above and below the bands presently used for mobile communications. In the FR1 frequency range below 6 GHz, the most important bands are between 3.4 GHz and 4 GHz, and in the millimeterwave range (FR2) between 26 GHzand 29 GHz. The new R&S FSW signal and spectrum analyzer analyzes 5G NR signals in the uplink for the development of 5G devices and components such as power amplifiers and in the downlink for 5G base station tests. It determines all key performance parameters such as error vector magnitude (EVM). The R&S SMW200A RF vector signal generator produces the required signals for uplink and downlink receiver tests. Both instruments are ideal for characterizing the high-performance, efficient Doherty amplifiers needed for 5G base stations. The two-path R&S SMW200A generates highly synchronized signals, while the R&S FSW provides the right analysis functions for optimizing the properties of Doherty amplifiers and other amplifiers. Performance tests in the 5G millimeterwave range New for performance tests on 5G NR base stations is the wideband R&S SMWB15 fading simulator option integrated into the signal generator. To test base station data reception under realistic conditions, the wideband version of the R&S SMW200A simulates the required high-precision transmit signals in the millimeterwave range in line with the test specifications for 5G NR Rel. 15. Signals with bandwidth up to 2 GHz and fading channels with bandwidth up to 200 MHz can be generated with carrier frequencies up to a maximum of 44 GHz at the press of a button. The R&S SMW-B15 option from Rohde & Schwarz adds the fading capability within the FR2 frequency range to the industry-leading single-box signal generator, enhancing existing FR1 frequency range capability for performance testing of LTE and 5G NR base stations. Testing far-field properties in the near field with a compact test setup Another highlight is the patented R&S PWC200 plane wave converter. This converter makes it possible for the first time to precisely measure far-field properties in the antenna near field. The extremely compact plane wave converter generates a spherical 3D quiet zone with a diameter of 1 meter in real time at a very short distance of just 1.5 meters. Radiated power and transceiver measurements, such as equivalent isotropic radiated power (EIRP), adjacent channel leakage power (ACLP) and equivalent isotropic sensitivity (EIS), can be made in this zone. The R&S PWC200 enables very compact far-field measurement setups for characterizing massive MIMO base stations in the FR1 frequency range. Cloud based production tests Rohde & Schwarz is also presenting a cloud based solution for 5G base station production testing with speed-optimized data processing on a server or in the customerâ€&#x;s cloud. The demo test system at the trade fair consists of an R&S SMBV100B vector signal generator and the new R&S FSV3000 spectrum analyzer, which is designed for analyzing 5G NR signals and for fast data transfer in the cloud. Users can configure and control production tests via the R&S Quickstep automation software. 5G microservices based on the R&S VSE signal explorer software quickly analyze the data. Ministrul delegat pentru afaceri europene, George Ciamba, a participat astăzi, 13 februarie 2019, la cea de-a doua zi a lucrărilor sesiunii plenare a Parlamentului European de la Strasbourg, în cadrul cărora a susținut o serie de intervenții, în calitate de reprezentant al Presedinției României la Consiliul UE.
Oficialul român a prezentat poziția Consiliului UE în dezbaterea cu tema “O taxare corectă pentru o societate justă”. În acest context, George Ciamba a subliniat necesitatea unei dezbateri oneste privind chestiunile fiscale. A accentuat nevoia combaterii evaziunii fiscale și asigurarea unor sisteme fiscale echitabile în statele membre. A subliniat importanța dimensiunii sociale a politicii de impozitare. Ministrul delegat s-a declarat încrezător că Parlamentul European va continua să aducă o contribuție solidă în acest domeniu. ”Unii pot spune că UE ar putea face mai mult în domeniul impozitării, dar aș dori să vă amintesc progresele înregistrate în ultimii ani în acest domeniu și să vă asigur că Președinția României va continua să lucreze în acest domeniu”, a punctat ministrul delegat pentru afaceri europene în intervenția sa. Tot astăzi, ministrul delegat a avut o intervenție în numele Înaltului Reprezentant pentru Afaceri Externe şi Politică de Securitate, vicepreședinte al Comisiei Europene, Federica Mogherini, în cadrul unei dezbateri privind viitorul Tratatului Forțelor Page 15 of 29
Nucleare Intermediare (INF). A subliniat susținerea UE și a statelor membre pentru Tratat, care rămâne un reper esențial în ceea ce privește regimul de neproliferare a armelor nucleare și al dezarmării. A evidențiat contribuția majoră a Tratatului Forțelor Nucleare Intermediare la pacea internațională, securitate și stabilitate în ultimii treizeci de ani, a exprimat speranța că acesta poate fi încă salvat și a adresat tuturor părților apelul de angajare în dialog, controlul armelor fiind crucial pentru securitatea colectivă. Răspunzând întrebărilor membrilor Parlamentului European, ministrul delegat a subliniat acțiunile UE în direcția susținerii și implementării Tratatului INF, inclusiv declarația UE din 18 octombrie 2018 în cadrul primului comitet al Adunării Generale ONU prin care s-a solicitat Federației Ruse să ia măsuri în ceea ce privește respectarea Tratatului INF de o maniera substanțială și transparentă. De asemenea, a reiterat componenta defensivă a sistemului anti-rachetă din România și Polonia și totala transparență în instalarea componentelor acestuia. A exprimat preocuparea față de creșterea amenințării și acumularea de armament la frontiera externă a Uniunii. De asemenea, ministrul George Ciamba a semnat, în calitate de reprezentant al Consiliului UE, o serie de acte legislative. Totodată, demnitarul român a participat, ca reprezentant al Președinției Consiliului UE, la două întâlniri politice cu privire la două dosare instituționale nelegislative, pe marginea cărora discuțiile vor continua în perioada următoare. Cu privire la Acordul Inter-instituțional privind Registrul Comun pentru Transparență, cele trei instituții au convenit agrearea unei declarații publice prin care este exprimat angajamentul de continuare a negocierilor în vederea obținerii unui acord.

More than 250 Chinese and 200 Russian spies are believed to operate in Brussels, mostly working in consulates and the cultural embassies of their respective countries. In 2003, at the seat of the European Council, where the heads of government and their respective ministers met, small spy boxes were found in the translator's booths. These boxes could be activated from outside the building and at a distance. The aim was to intercept conversations of the German, British, Spanish and French delegations. Miercuri, 13 februarie, în marja Reuniunii informale a miniştrilor apărării din ţările membre ale NATO, care are loc la Bruxelles, ministrul apărării naţionale, Gabriel Leş, a avut o întâlnire bilaterală cu omologul canadian, Harjit Singh Sajjan.
Oficialul român a exprimat aprecierea pentru contribuţia substanțială și constantă a Canadei la implementarea măsurilor de consolidare a flancului estic aliat, exemplificând prin participarea Canadei, în ultimii doi ani, la misiunile de poliţie aeriană consolidată de pe teritoriul ţării noastre. Totodată, ministrul Leș a adresat mulțumiri față de angajamentele asumate deja de Canada, în acest an, în efectuarea unor astfel de misiuni.

De asemenea, ministrul Leș a accentuat importanţa deosebită a relaţiei transatlantice pentru securitatea Europei, având în vedere provocările actuale de securitate în regiunea Mării Negre. În ceea ce priveşte cooperarea în cadrul ONU, cei doi oficiali au abordat subiectul referitor la contribuția României la misiunea MINUSMA din Mali, începând cu luna octombrie a acestui an. Astfel, având în vedere că România va succeda Canada la îndeplinirea misiunii, cei doi miniștri au discutat aspecte generale pe care o astfel de contribuție operațională le implică, precum și sprijinul pe care partenerul canadian lar putea oferi, prin prisma expertizei deținute, în pregătirea participării țării noastre la această misiune.
Tot în cursul primei zile a reuniunii, ministrul apărării naționale l-a întâlnit pe ministrul georgian al apărării, Levan Izoria, alături de care au fost abordate subiecte de interes reciproc privind cooperarea militară bilaterală, evoluţiile recente ale situaţiei de securitate in regiunea Mării Negre, precum şi cooperarea NATO-Georgia. Gabriel Leș a subliniat că țara noastră va continua să sprijine activ procesul de reformă şi modernizare a forţelor armate georgiene, în scopul întăririi sistemului de apărare şi creşterii interoperabilităţii cu statele aliate. De asemenea, ministrul român a apreciat participarea operaţională consistentă a Georgiei la eforturile Alianţei de consolidare a securităţii şi stabilităţii regionale şi internaţionale, în special în ceea ce privește misiunea Resolute Support din Afganistan.

With ARIS you can master strategic ELINT in today‟s complex signal environment and make fast updates to ELINT databases. ARIS-E, which is a new Electronic Support Measures (ESM) product building on ARIS. It provides automatic identification, real-time geolocation and tracking of radars on the battlefield. ARIS and ARIS-E together deliver comprehensive tools for strategic and tactical ELINT/ESM for various needs. MUSCL passive radar system which is a covert and easily deployable air surveillance system, using signals from existing radio and TV broadcast networks for target detection and tracking.
