“We have competed well in the first few matches of the season,” Buffalo said. “Now it is time to get out to some different courses. Our goal is to keep getting better every match so that we are playing our best golf when it’s time for the district tournament.” summer. We have practiced from June until July. And now we’re practicing. To get to play someone else other than in team camps, and actually have live tackling and blocking is good. I think it’s going to be really good for us.”
Carlisle played in a match against PalestineWheatley in Forrest City on Monday. The Bison play at Stuttgart on Aug. 22 and Hamburg on Aug. 24.
CAC’s quarterback Grayson Wilson has already committed to play for the University of Arkansas as a junior.
“I think just the excitement of that and be able to play somebody else is really good for us,” Barbaree said.
The Eagles open the regular season Sept. 1 at home against Hazen, the defending Class 2A state champion.
