A Herbal Magic Christmas Poem... ‘Twas the night before Christmas, I‟d reached my goal
weight, My family and I had planned to celebrate; My old stockings were hung by the chimney with care; I‟d never have to buy another plussized pair. My children were giving me hugs all night, For they were able to wrap their arms „round me tight. My husband smiled, said he loved his new wife; I‟d made the choice for a healthy new life.
Then I suddenly stopped cause I heard on the roof The prancing and pawing of many a hoof. Then all went quiet, and as we turned around, Down the chimney St. Nicholas came with a bound. He was dressed all in fur, from his head to his foot, And his clothes were all tarnished with ashes and soot. But the one thing I noticed that I hadn‟t before— Was the size of the man who fell to the floor.
Then out on the lawn there arose such a clatter, I stopped the party to see what was the matter. Away to the window I flew in a flash; After losing the weight I sure could move fast!
His chin, it was doubled! His arms were flabby! His cheeks were ballooned! His thighs were shabby! He had the largest love handles I‟d ever seen; He was much more overweight than I had once been.
The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow Shone down on my smiling friends below. The door swung open and in my house they did come; “You battled your weight,” they said, “and you‟ve won!”
I pitied the reindeer who had to pull that man, I hoped that Rudolph had set up a health plan. He had a broad face and a giant round belly That shook when he laughed like a bowl full of jelly.
I knew at that moment I had made the right choice And that with my new body I‟d found a new voice. So I stood up tall and looked at all who came And called out my favourite products by name: “There‟s QLP I, II, II and don‟t forget IV! I‟d have a VHP shake and just want more! Chromagic, PB-5, and Formula SB; As the jingle says, It‟s a brand new me! I‟m currently maintaining at my ideal weight, The Honey Nougat Maxxum Bars sure do taste great. Take Ultrazyme, Femme-Plus or even Cellu-loss; When it comes to weight management, you are the boss!”
He was chubby and plump, a right jolly old elf, And I smiled when I saw him -- that once was myself. The look in his eye and the droop of his head Soon gave me to know what didn‟t need to be said. So we picked him up and went straight to a center; It was time for St. Nick to get himself better. He looked as happy as ever when he weighed in; The Quick-Loss Plus program was our gift to him. “It sure is nice,” said he “to be on the right track Finally losing weight should help bring Mrs. Claus back!” Then I heard him exclaim as he drove out of sight, “A MAGIC CHRISTMAS TO ALL AND TO ALL A GOOD NIGHT!” *Poem reprinted from Corporate Newsletter, 12/2007.
