Healthy raw ‘nutella’ spread If I’m honest, I have to admit that I love Nutella – the one that you buy ready-made – but it’s full of stuff that my body reacts badly to – fake flavours, sugars, gluten and dairy. I never like to think I’m missing out though, so I created a healthy raw Nutella. It’s perfect for all the Nutella fiends who want to drop the habit without missing out on that awesome flavour.
30 g (¼ cup) raw cacao powder
To make the raw nutella, put all your ingredients into a blender and mix until smooth, adding as much almond milk as you need to get the right consistency. You can store this in a jar in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
160 ml (²⁄3 cup) maple syrup
I love to dip strawbs in this chocolatey amazingness!
pinch of salt flakes
Makes 500 ml (2 cups)
110 g (1 cup) hazelnut meal
60 ml (¼ cup) almond milk (or as much as you need to get the right consistency) pinch of chilli flakes DF
