Pdt. Yung Tik Yuk Pdt. Yung Tik Yuk was giving some contemplation and sermon for all the parents and teachers. He said, “Time has passed so quickly, particularly for these children, they are growing up so fast”. But this is the reality of our life and we always do not pay attention to them and eventually we missed the precious moments with our children.” After the sermon has been delivered, it was time for the representative of parent to share his experience with his son. He said when his son invited him to come to his graduation, the first thing that come in his mind was the same with Pdt. Yung just said “do not to skip this great opportunity”, whereas in fact “I had to attend events outside of town, but I am sure that I can make money another day but for this opportunity will come only once in my lifetime”, he said.
The boys acting as the carrots
The girls acting as the villagers. Then the most exciting part of the program was come. It was the musical drama “Stone Soup” played by all kindergarten students. This drama told us about three hungry soldiers who came to a village to get some food. But the villagers didn’t want to share any food with them. Then, the soldiers created a trick by making soup from stone and cleverly persuade people in the village to add other ingredients on it. The moral of this story is teamwork and hard work with your friends in very bad condition. We can see that this drama has run very well. All students played their characters very well and showed great team work to make a good plot. After musical drama has been played, the children went to the changing room to change their costume to an “Agent of Change” blue t-shirt and get ready for the procession of graduation. The MC called their name one by one and Mrs. Eva granted them the certificate. After that, some students gave appreciation to the teachers. Then Mrs. Eva led the audience to pray to close the ceremony. At the end of ceremony, all the students, parents and teacher took pictures to keep the memorable moment.
