BIOCRAFT COMPETITION

Create a biology-inspired 3D artwork from recycled, or other, material. Artwork will be judged on 6 November. Bring your work to the Biology Prep Room. Any pupil from Year 5 upwards. Winners of the HCS competition will be entered to the nationwide competition!
WHY: Pieces will be judged on variety of materials & creative skills used, its aesthetic quality, originality and how well the biological basis of the subject matter is captured.

ncy yourself as an expert photographer? Spend halfterm out and about in nature trying to snap the perfect picture! This year ’ s theme is “Colours & Patterns” Entries must be received by Mr Conington by 11 November.
Winning pictures will be displayed in the Senior School and winners will receive a small prize. Any pupil from Year 5 upwards. HOW TO ENTER
1.
Take a picture linking to the theme of “Colours & Patterns”.
2. Name your picture file using the following format: “Your Name _ HCS Photo Competition_Entry 1”
3. Send your named file to Mr Conington (d.conington@herefordcs.com) by 6pm on 11 November.
4. Winners will be announced via email and prizes awarded on 18 November.

Design a way to stop plastic entering the oceans. Your entry will need to be: A poster explaining your design 1. A portfolio with pictures and annotations of your design 2. Any pupil from Year 5 upwards Submit your project to your teacher who will forward on for judging.
