The Orientation Guide is designed to help you acclimate yourself to the club, providing information on everything you need to start enjoying your membership and answering any questions you may have. However, if there is something that the staff or I can do to further assist you, please do not hesitate to ask. I am also happy to address any concerns or feedback you may have and can be reached by email any time if you are unable to reach me at the club. Thank you for becoming part of our family. Golf Cart Etiquette Golf Carts The expectation at the Members Club is to exit the fairway 30 yards away from greens, approaches and collars. Golf Carts are to remain on cart paths at all times for the entirety of par-3 holes. This limitation includes any area adjacent to a teeing ground as well as any area adjacent to the greens. Carts should never be parked in the fairway in front of a green, as this creates an unwarranted distraction for players on the following teeing ground. It’s good cart etiquette to park the cart at adjacent to the rear of the green, as this typically provides the shortest exit from the green to the cart when done putting. Avoid soft/wet areas especially after heavy rain.
Push/Pull Carts Push/pull carts should not be pulled or pushed across any green or tee boxes. Push/pull carts should not be pulled or pushed on the turf between any bunker and green, – or on any collar or approaches to any green. As with a riding cart, a push/pull cart should be parked adjacent to the rear of the green. Push/Pull carts should never be parked on the front collar or approach to any green, as this creates an unwarranted distraction for players on the following teeing ground.
Cancellation Policy All cancellations must be made a minimum of 24 hours before the tee time. Player(s) that do not call or email the Golf Shop to cancel their tee-time will be billed a cancellation fee equal to (1) 18-hole cart fee. www.grandedunesmembersclub.com

DRESS CODE Appropriate attire is as follows: Men: Shirts with sleeves and a collar, slacks or golf shorts. Hats must be always worn facing forward. Tank tops, T-shirts, cut-offs, sweatpants, cargo shorts, jeans, bathing suits, tennis shorts or other athletic shorts are not permitted. Women: Dresses, skirts, slacks, or golf shorts and shirts or blouses are considered appropriate attire. Halter tops, T-shirts, fishnet tops, bathing suits, sweatpants, jeans, tennis dresses, athletic shorts, or cut-offs are not permitted. Improperly dressed golfers will be asked to change their clothes before playing.
GOLF COURSE ETIQUETTE Members and guests should do their part in making their round of golf a pleasant experience for everyone at the Club. In so doing, please be mindful of the following guidelines: Replace or fill all divots. It is preferred that players fill their divots with the displaced grass. If that is not possible, please use the divot mix provided on each golf cart. Fix ball marks on greens. All players are responsible for fixing ball marks on greens. Rake bunkers. Please use provided rakes to create a playing surface in which all subsequent golfers can enjoy. Maintain position on the golf course. Proper positioning is half of one hole behind the group in front of you. Singles and twosomes should not expect to play through when groups are in proper position. Respect other players. Please be aware of your surroundings when playing music and be courteous of your fellow golfers. Refrain from driving golf carts close to others while they are playing and always yell “fore” if a ball is headed into the vicinity of other players. www.grandedunesmembersclub.com

Dress Code Policy in the Clubhouse
In keeping with the spirit of the club and practices that serve in the best interest of all our members, the Members Club has a dress code for members and guests to follow when inside the clubhouse. Our dress code is best summarized as country club or business casual. Appropriate attire for ladies includes dresses, skirts, slacks, shorts that are no more than four inches above the knee, shirts, blouses, and sleeveless tops no less than one inch wide at the shoulders, denim pants, in good taste, without stains, rips, or tears. Appropriate attire for gentlemen includes shirts with collars and sleeves, mock turtlenecks, slacks, Bermuda shorts, and denim pants, in good taste, without stains, rips, or tears. Gentlemen’s shirts must be tucked into slacks or shorts, unless approved by Club Management as acceptable fashion. All apparel that is considered proper golf attire is permissible in the clubhouse at any time. Tank tops, T-shirts, denim shorts or cutoffs, sweatpants, work pants, cargo pants, workout attire, or bathing suits are not permitted in the Clubhouse. Apparel with advertising messages or offensive slogans are not permitted. All headgear, including sports hats and visors, must be removed while in dining and common areas, unless as part of a formal attire during special events. Hats are permissible in the Golf Shop. The club may publish or relax dress requirements, from time-to-time, in which gentlemen and ladies may dress in a fashion compatible with the occasion. When in doubt of whether attire conforms to the Club’s Dress Code Policy, please seek the advice of the Club Staff.
