Family Tributes
Dear Mother... You can only have one mother Patient kind and true; No other friend in all the world, Will be the same to you. As we look upon your picture, Sweet memories we recall, Of a face so full of sunshine, And a smile for one and all.
Grandmother, you were my personal diary, my teacher, my cheerleader, my mentor, my greatest friend, my listening ear, and my shoulder to cry on when needed. Thank you for everything you taught me and for your love. I was blessed with the BEST! I Love you!

Sweet Jesus, take this message, To our dear mother up above; Tell her how we miss her, And give her all our love. ~
From Your Children ~
Mom, I honor you for the way you enriched our lives with your love and sacrifice. In the words of the famous song about mothers, “loving you is like food to my soul.” ~
Cord ~
Mom, as a child, I didn’t pray for toys or pets. Instead, I prayed for an angel. That was an unusual prayer for a child, but God blessed me with something better by giving me you! ~
Jacoby ~
I will always remember doing arts and crafts together, making ice cream, doing pottery and paint by numbers, working on puzzles, lessons about the importance of friendships and you accompanying me to preschool every day. ~
Sade’ ~
My fondest memories of you include learning how to pick greens and being shown the true meaning of unconditional love. ~
Angel ~
I will never forget your instructions on how to properly walk in heels! Although I still haven’t mastered walking in them, the lessons about not dragging my feet will live with me forever! I love you! ~
Grandma, one thing that I know for sure is that you nurtured all of your grandkids and made sure that we all grew up to be respectful. Thank you! ~
Cedric ~
Grandma Christine, I only hope to be as great of a grandparent as you were to me. Thank you and I love you forever!
Camille ~

Christopher ~
Grandma, we had a lot in common! From puzzles to word searches and solitaire, you taught me a lot during our times together! You were a loving soul who gave even when you didn’t have it to give. I love you with all my heart! ~
Ari ~
Grandma Chris, you were one of the BEST at playing cards and you passed those skills on to me! You always gave the best hugs and checked to make sure I was always safe! You wrote letters and called me to offer love and encouragement. I will never forget you! ~
Mason ~
To Our Sister We’re blessed to call you sister, and blessed to call you friend; You loved us unconditionally, And stood through thick and thin.
Although you’re gone, we’ll always be Surrounded by your love; As we wait for that great reunion, in our Heavenly home above! ~

Life Reflections
Christine Parker Williams was born to Jimmie and Carvelle Parker on December 24, 1946, in Darling, Mississippi. She accepted Christ at an early age and attended the historic Booker T. Washington High School in Memphis, Tennessee. She was a very talented, loving, and caring individual who truly demonstrated God’s love in her interactions with others throughout her lifetime. Among her many talents and gifts, Christine will be most remembered for being an amazing cook, seamstress, nurse, teacher, and disciplinarian. In her early years, she assisted her father in caring for her younger siblings. She chose to leave her career to serve as a dedicated caregiver to her mother and several loved ones. Following the teachings of Jesus Christ, she never met a stranger, never allowed anyone to go hungry, and she provided shelter to those who were in need. One of Christine’s greatest joys in life was the precious time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, crocheting, reading, doing crossword and jigsaw puzzles, and lending a hand to those in need from the heart. She was highly respected as the matriarch of her family. Throughout her lifetime, Christine lived by the motto, “If I have it to share, I will share it!” She strongly believed that everyone needed someone to love and care for them. On Thursday, January 27, 2022, the Lord received Christine into His arms. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers: Thurmond Harris-Gardner and Allen Parker; and one sister, Doris Jones. To celebrate her loving legacy, she leaves eight children: Carlton Eugene Williams (Angela), Charnette Renee Johnson, Cord Williams (Valerie), Helen Joy Morris (Todd), Donesha Necole Williams, Jacoby Allen Williams, Jasmine Katrina Allen (Clifton), and Jeremiah Deshun Williams; five sisters: Mattie M. Bell, Carolyn A. Gunn, Geraldine D. Jones, Margaret Cox, and Beverly Shipp (Arthur); one brother, Eugene Parker; twenty grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, a dear friend, Clara Fryson, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends whose lives were touched by her angelic presence.
