Funeral Program for Robert L. Coleman, Jr.

Dear Friends & Family:

On January 24, 1970, God’s plan for me began as my parents, Robert Sr. and Mary Coleman, welcomed me into the world. During my life span, I was obedient to God and my parents. I married the love of my life (Jennifer), was dedicated to my job (FedEx), faithful to my church (PLCC), loyal to my family, and nice to everybody. In addition to all of that, I enjoyed spending time with my two poodles, working on my plane, repairing everybody’s computer, traveling, supporting my hometown Memphis Grizzlies and my Dallas Cowboys – “America’s Team”. In fact, I loved my teams so much that I was a season ticket holder for both and considered the president of the Cowboys Fan Club. Life was great for me. I loved doing the things that made me happy, but nothing compares to where I am now. So don’t weep long for me. Be happy for me. I am free and safe from suffering! I did not lose. I WON! I fought a good fight there and finished my course. I have earned my crown, robe and mansion! Continue to live right and treat others with love so we can meet on this side one day! To my lovely wife, Jennifer; mother, Mary; sisters Sandra, Renese and Regina; children/grandchildren; aunts/uncles, nieces/nephews, and friends: I LOVE you all! Trust me when I say, I am in a much better place now!

Robert

‘Til we meet again,
