“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing, a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away, a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak, a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace.” (Ecclesiastes 3:1-8, New International Version) In nature, and in our lives, things are always changing. Sometimes, the changes are so subtle that we don’t notice them until we look up and see that things are suddenly different! You may not see it in your spiritual life, or in relationships with friends and family. It is inevitable. It is undeniable. Yet, the more things change, GOD remains the same! In tonight’s production, the Seymore family faces real-life situations while masterfully demonstrating the importance of blessing God in the midst of life’s changes. The characters - in their own way - come to realize that He is Lord in ALL seasons! We invite you to take this journey of discovery with us and take notice of what happens when we bless God in all seasons.
There is one thing that we can be sure of...SEASONS CHANGE! Yet, we also have the assurance that God is always present and that He is Lord in all seasons! The cast and crew have worked exceptionally hard to produce a stage play that is also a powerful ministry experience. I am grateful to have worked with such a gifted bunch of individuals who possess the true commitment and dedication to reaching hearts in the name of ministry. Pastor Woodard and the Livin Purpose Christian Church family have been the most supportive. I am grateful for the many prayers and acts of support as we have prepared for tonight’s presentation. If you don’t like the season you are in, bless the Lord and trust Him for change. If you love the season you are in, bless the Lord and trust Him for change. Our response must always be blessing and trust. It is the way of peace. May God bless you,
