It was a bold decision some 4 years ago to start our remote stores operation at Herose Limited.

I remember being slightly overwhelmed by the size of our new, state of the art facility — we had basically increased our operational floor space by over 70% overnight.

We constantly thought — can we fill it? Will this be a success? However as with all bold business plans we stuck to our guns and over the course of the last few years the answer to both of those questions was a resounding “yes”.

Step-by-step we added skills and services to our organisation that are now proving to be indispensable to our aspiration to be a number 1 partner to our customers for valve and ancillary requirements. In 2015 our remote stores were at full capacity and we decided it was time to expand again.

We have invested in a second unit next door, and by knocking through we have doubled the size of our operation in Armthorpe.

Not only doubling the size, but improving the flow, stock capacity, cleanliness and potential for further growth.

Despite the economic downturn last year for oil and gas business around the world, we continued to strive as a business. Not only do we listen to our customers requirements, more importantly we act upon them.

We have always found in this industry the key to success is being ahead of the game and that is what we always strive to do. Our onsite facilities now allow us to offer a much vaster range of services to our customer base throughout the UK, Europe, the Commonwealth and globally.

STOCK

At Herose Limited, along with customer service, fast delivery is part of our promise. For this reason we keep an extensive amount of UK stock, which allows us to meet most of our customers urgent requirements as and when we are called upon.

With an excess of £1 million GBP worth of stock, we would always hope to find a suitable solution off the shelf. If for any reason the product is not ex-stock UK, the relationships we have nurtured over the years with our partners allow us to provide substantially shorter lead times in critical situations.

O2 CLEANING

With our state of the art facilities and independent clean room, we are able to offer O2 cleaning on various parts, including machined components, re-furbished valves and even actuators to a very high standard of cleanliness (< 50mg/m2). Once cleaned and rinsed all products are placed in sealed bags prior to leaving the clean room to reduce the risk of contamination, ready to be installed.

TESTING AND SETTING

All our operational staff are approved and authorised by our partners to set and test the full range of safety valves. With an onsite ISO approved test bench, we can offer a comprehensive range of safety valves within 3 working days ex-works UK. We hold an extensive range of both bodies and springs so we can offer a complete scope of set pressures for both our industrial gas and general industry customer base.

With all relevant ISO and PED module D certification in place throughout every aspect of our business, we can assure you of a high level of service and competence from the first time we pick up the phone.

Herose worked in collaboration with Shaanxi Rongke Cryogenic Equipment Co. Ltd. Together onsite we oversaw the installation of valves and completed training for operational staff at the shaving station.

The valve packages we supplied covered the full range of plant equipment for storage vessels, liquid feed lines, gas feed lines and all supporting equipment including: • 1/2” to 12” cryogenic manual globe valves • 6” to 14” cryogenic manual and ESD ball valves • 1” to 4” cryogenic ESD globe valves • 1” to 4” cryogenic control globe valves • 1/2” to 6” safety valves
