We are supporting Hertfordshire County Council in becoming Carbon Neutral and zero to landfill by 2030.

We’re also actively working to lighten our carbon footprint and become more energy efficient in the most cost-effective way. In 2021 we have modernised and upgraded our fleet from Euro 5 to Euro 6 which has resulted in better route planning and a reduction in carbon emissions.

This is a journey and we have more to do so watch this space!

Our ECO goals

• Encourage employees to use sustainable community methods

• All paper or wood derivative products to be sourced in-line with EU timber regulations

• Sustainable packaging used by the operation to be reusable, recyclable, made from recycled materials or biodegradable by 2025

Herts FullStop Fleet Management is dedicated to helping schools find the most suitable vehicle at the best price possible and has an electric fleet. Choosing an electrical vehicle has many benefits such as zero C02 emissions and reduced running costs.

Wall Art is produced using sustainable technology and eco-friendly material. We offer a range of wall coverings to communicate environmental messages and your school’s eco values.

Our Grounds Maintenance service helps schools and nurseries encourage bio-diversity and sustainability by planting trees, hedges and wildlife areas.

Our Electric Vehicles

Supporting Customer Account Managers and Schools to reduce CO2 emissions

Herts FullStop Fleet Management has been working with Chessbrook school who are aiming to achieve an Eco Schools Award. Our electric fleet offering is helping to meet this objective.

Grounds Maintenance

Grounds Maintenance Services can encourage bio-diversity and sustainability. Throughout the school trees, hedges, shrubs and grass provide a multitude of areas for flora and fauna that will all help to sustain our future by providing a good environment.

• Plant trees around the school to reduce Co2 and help climate change by keeping temperatures down

• Create a wildlife area to attract butterflies, moths, bees and birds

• Create a wild flower meadow with native wild flowers including the rare Hertfordshire Pasque flower

• Install a pond to attract frogs and newts

• Plant hedges to attract bird nesting and feeding

• Add footpaths through the wildlife area. Log rings can provide seating for outside classrooms and also for creepy crawlies underneath
