IS IT TIME FOR A SOCIAL EXPERIMENT?

Mayors and City Councils, of some cities like LA and Hollywood with THEIR GREAT MINDS think the state should defund the police departments. I am beginning to think the police departments in LA, Hollywood, and Hollywood Hills, should call in sick for a month, and let all the so-called INTELLECTUAL ELITES find out what stupidity is firsthand. These are the same people that produce some great award winning (not) movies like “The Purge” and the TV series “The Purge”.

If it does not work, the worst we lose is LA, Hollywood, and Hollywood Hills. We could even consider alternatives like Chicago, Minneapolis, or even New York City, as alternatives. Keep in mind, the citizens of these cities elected these great leaders (sarcasm).

IS IT UN-CHRISTIAN TO THINK LIKE THIS? Let us consider that Jesus and other passages in both the New and Old Testaments point out foolish thinking of leaders. Matt 23:16-18 Jesus said

“WOE TO YOU, BLIND GUIDES, who say, ‘ Whoever swears by the temple, that is nothing; but whoever swears by the gold of the temple is obligated.’ 17 “YOU FOOLS - AND BLIND MEN! Which is more important, the gold or the temple that sanctified the gold?” NASU Rom 1:20-23 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. 21 FOR EVEN THOUGH THEY KNEW GOD, THEY DID NOT HONOR HIM AS GOD OR GIVE THANKS, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 PROFESSING TO BE WISE, THEY BECAME FOOLS, 23 and EXCHANGED THE GLORY OF THE INCORRUPTIBLE GOD FOR AN IMAGE IN THE FORM OF CORRUPTIBLE MAN and of birds and four-footed animals and crawling creatures. Prov 13:19-21 Desire fulfilled is sweet to the soul, but TURNING AWAY FROM EVIL IS ABHORRENT TO FOOLS. 20 He who walks with the wise will become wise, but THE COMPANION OF FOOLS WILL SUFFER. 21 Evil pursues sinners, but prosperity will reward the righteous. CJB

Sin in the heart of mankind will always seek to divide and produce hatred. For thousands of years, men have put laws in place to address the sin in mankind’s heart – to no avail. The only way to address sin in the heart is to experience a spiritual heart transplant. UNTIL THAT HAPPENS, THERE WILL ALWAYS BE HATRED AND DIVISION IN PEOPLE OF ALL COLORS. SIN IS A HEART ISSUE, NOT A SKIN COLOR ISSUE!

Matt 13:10-15 And the disciples came and said to Him, “Why do You speak to them in parables?” 11 Jesus answered them,“ To you it has been granted to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been granted. 12 “ For whoever has, to him more shall be given, and he will have an abundance; but whoever does not have, even what he has shall be taken away from him. 13 “Therefore I speak to them in parables; because while seeing they do not see, and while hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand. 14 “ In their case the prophecy of Isaiah is being fulfilled, which says, ‘YOU WILL KEEP ON HEARING, BUT WILL NOT UNDERSTAND; YOU WILL KEEP ON SEEING, BUT WILL NOT PERCEIVE; 15 FOR THE HEART OF THIS PEOPLE HAS BECOME DULL, WITH THEIR EARS THEY SCARCELY HEAR, AND THEY HAVE CLOSED THEIR EYES, OTHERWISE THEY WOULD SEE WITH THEIR EYES, HEAR WITH THEIR EARS, AND UNDERSTAND WITH THEIR HEART AND RETURN, AND I WOULD HEAL THEM.’ NASU

Heb 10:19-23 Therefore, brethren, since we have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus, 20 by a new and living way which He inaugurated for us through the veil, that is, His flesh, 21 and since we have a great priest over the house of God, 22 let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, HAVING OUR HEARTS SPRINKLED CLEAN FROM AN EVIL CON- SCIENCE AND OUR BODIES WASHED WITH PURE WATER (the Word of God). Church, pray that the eyes of their understanding will be opened, and they will come to truth; or is it time to allow the foolish to have their social experiment? We will see how many votes that will get them!
