0+1 GROUP BABY CAR SEAT Croporated with Britax HK Designed in TECA

MARKET RESEARCH-CN According to our mapping the following products are the closest to the target position and price point. Leading product design is currently from Britax, Cybex and Concord, these brands will be used as reference for the design language along with the style guide in the new design. In terms construction and technology we saw innovation across a number of brands.

CONCEPT SKETCHES

BELT ROUTING SYSTEM STUDY&DESIGN The study was made in the Ningbo factory, we were shown to a range of car seats and the crash simulation video. We learnt all the popular belt routing methods and made a summary for design reference.

FORWARD FACING BELT ROUTING (11WAYS )

REARWARD FACING BELT ROUTING (12 WAYS )

The prototype proofs this twisting method saves much effort for users who suppose to be young mothers.

DESIGN CONCEPT 2 PORTABLE BALL-SHAPE CLOCK STERILIZER

3 normal bottles

Updated folding method, similar to the telescope structure, with better appearance and durability.

1 large bottle

3 pacifiers

3D design with telescope structure, both the two sides of it can be folded. It can do different sterilization with different conditions.

Refined folding method, only one side can be folded, the clear glass allow moms to see the sterilization inside.

PROTOTYPING PROCESS FINDINGS: The insde arms are too wick to hold the pacifiers, and are not easy to be operated. The tinted glass is too dark to see the sterilization process inside. The overall color is too dark so that it dose not looks like a baby product.

Prototype of the frame SLS/FDM 3d printing & hand fabricating

Prototype of the bag paper/fabric prototyping

People like to USE FOOT TO UNFOLD THE WHEELS.

• The PROCESSES OF CLOSING AND OPENING OF THE BAGS ARE TOO MANY. • The bag is too soft to keep its shape, and makes it hard to be folded in the designed way. • When the bag is folded, it was very loose, some of the participants want it to be neat when carrying it.

User Tests

shopping/folding/pulling

• If not being told, PEOPLE WILL NOT REALIZE THEY SHOULD PUT THE HEAVY ITEMS AT THE BOTTOM in order to protect the light items when pulling the trolley. • Some of the people tried to USE DIVIDERS TO TIGHTEN THE ITEMS inside the bag. • The strap is not comfortable enough to put on shoulder. •

When folding MECHANISM is hard to be managed.
