The main characters are the castaway and Kim, the girl. The story is about a man who tries to commit suicide when he realizes that all his businesses have gone bankrupt, the first time he tries to commit suicide on a bridge where a river runs below, he throws himself and after a while he wakes up on an island Completely alone, after a while he begins to despair, and with the tie he was wearing, he hangs it on a tree and again tries to commit suicide, at that very moment near the bank of the river a boat passes by and when he hears it he runs desperately to call the attention to that ship, nobody saw it, only a man who thought he was saying goodbye, greets him and the ship moves forward, with his cell phone he tries to call the emergency room but they don't believe him, he calls his ex-girlfriend but did not want to talk to him, his cell phone runs out of battery and throws it away. After that he tries to swim back to the city but he does not succeed since he never learned to swim, and in one of those attempts he was drowning and remembered things and problems that had happened to him, finally he was out of the water and in the sand he wrote a message asking for help, for a few days I desperately look for food and a place to stay, until day by day he manages to cope with the situation he was in and begins to look for a way to live well in that place, some time later the shipwrecked changed the message of help for a greeting. In a room of one of the buildings lives a girl who is fond of the moon who one day, looking through her camera, finds the help message that the shipwrecked man had written in the sand, she is very surprised and pretended that she was an alien that was alone , for a while he observed it and later he decided to communicate with the day after the shipwrecked man exchanged the message for the greeting.
Days and months go by and the two communicate through messages sent by the girl in a bottle and the shipwrecked man writing in the sand, the two continue their daily activities, the shipwrecked solves some of his problems and lives better than when he arrived. , began to harvest and accumulate things that were necessary. One day there were very heavy rains that made everything that she had achieved was lost, the girl gets sad but she can do nothing more than watch it. The next day, police people find the castaway, beat him and try to return him to the city since he cannot be there, the girl sees everything and desperately leaves her room after three years and runs to look for him, the shipwrecked goes up to a bus, the girl tries to reach it and does not succeed, she finally reaches it and they meet personally. The character that faced the most challenges was the shipwrecked since he arrived on the island, to eat, live, drink and be emotionally well, for the girl her challenge was to leave her room and apartment to take the bottle to the river and be able to communicate with shipwrecked. I think that I could not identify with any of the characters because they live situations very different from mine, but in some moments I felt empathy with them, in the same way with the mother, since the way she looked at her daughter made me very sad After so much time. I have never fully felt the things that they have happened to them, but I have felt things like frustration and stress at not being able to do something like what happened to the shipwrecked, but the way in which he works to solve it did not seem appropriate. At first I did not like the film very much, but little by little I liked it, I had several favorite parts such as when the shipwrecked man decided to try to solve and find a way to live happily, even if he was alone, another was when he first found his plant of corn, I was very happy for him, and another was when finally after so long the girl and the castaway met. My least favorite part was when he did gross things, but I wouldn't change a thing.
I think it is a good movie, it has a very good message and I would recommend it to other people, especially those who are going through a difficult problem so that they see that there is a solution to everything even when it seems impossible, I think that to all kinds people would like this movie
