Heythrop Park Hotel Elegant 18th century Main House with stunning period rooms
At the heart of this hotel is the 18th century Main House, the perfect setting for a traditional fairytale wedding. The elegant period features form a stunning backdrop to your big day and the setting of 440 acres of countryside is second to none. Wedgewood Room This elegant room enjoys picturesque views over the estate and offers a beautiful surrounding for your traditional civil ceremony. The room can hold up to 160 guests. Churchill Room Another period room ideal for smaller civil ceremonies is the Churchill Room, again with stunning views over the grounds.
Terrace Restaurant As you sit down for your wedding breakfast, enjoy stunning views over the Italian Gardens. Enstone Suite The largest of rooms in Heythrop Park and the ideal setting for your evening reception. The room can hold up to 180 guests including room for your dance floor.

Crowne Plaza Heythrop Park – Oxford Contemporary new hotel with bright colours and stylish 21st century design
Newly opened, this contemporary hotel offers something different as a wedding venue. Still enjoying the beautiful setting of the Heythrop Park estate, this stylish hotel is bright and modern.
The Stratford Rooms Perfect for smaller ceremonies, these light rooms have floor to ceiling windows and views over the Moroccan Courtyard.
The Ballroom The new ballroom is tastefully decorated with lots of natural daylight and direct access out to the Moroccan Courtyard. Holding up to 350 guests, the room can be used for larger ceremonies and also your evening reception. The Ballroom is a self contained function area with its own entrance, function bar and direct access outside.
The Courtyard For a drinks reception with a twist, our Moroccan Courtyard is the perfect setting. The Courtyard can be accessed directly from the Ballroom bar and smaller Stratford Rooms.
Asian Weddings For the most magnificent of celebrations the Ballroom of the Crowne Plaza Hotel is perfect. The vivid colours and stylish design of the hotel are sure to compliment your chosen dĂŠcor and provide you with the setting for your most memorable event. The Ballroom The Ballroom gives you the space to lay on the most lavish of ceremonies and with its clean white walls it is the perfect canvas for you to really inject your personalities. Set for a banquet the room can hold 300 guests and has its own break out areas and access to our Moroccan style courtyard. The room is licensed for civil ceremonies and can also hold mandap ceremonies.
Catering The Ballroom has its own dedicated service kitchen and cold store allowing you seamless service for your guests. We work closely with several preferred suppliers who we are happy to recommend and who have provided sumptuous food and fantastic service to weddings in the past. Marquees If you are catering for larger numbers of guests than our Ballroom can cater for we are happy to discuss your requirements for a marquee within the grounds. Our co-ordinator will also be happy to recommend our preferred caterers.

Wedding Etiquette At Heythrop Park Resort we want to make organising your wedding as easy and stress free as possible. To help we have pulled together a few helpful tips on wedding etiquette to guide you through your big day. The Receiving Line The receiving line can be the best way to make sure you meet and greet all of your guests. As the invitations are traditionally sent out from the bride’s parents, they are considered the host & hostess for the day and should be first in the line. Then the groom’s parents can follow before the groom, bride, chief bridesmaid and best man. Time should be allowed for this between the drinks reception and the wedding breakfast. Cutting the Cake Often the cake is cut by the bride & groom together at the end of the meal but before tea & coffee.

The Toasts The first toast is the duty and privilege of the father of the bride, or other close relative. This toast is to be to the bride & groom. The groom then responds to this toast on behalf of himself and his new bride. It is also his duty to toast the bridesmaids. Finally the best man responds to this toast on behalf of the bridesmaids. He may also wish to read out other messages of congratulations.
