Homeless and Housing Coaltion of Kentucky

As the only statewide advocacy organization for issues of homelessness & affordable housing in KY, we take the responsibility of educating state legislators & advocating for more affordable housing in KY very seriously. We were established in 1987 to serve as the unified voice for low income housing issues. We administer a statewide AmeriCorps program called Getting Things Done for Kentucky’s Homeless & a statewide Technical Assistance Program funded through federal grants to help housing nonprofits develop the necessary skills & capabilities to become & remain vital. We have also tried to include information for people who are seeking housing resources in their communities. HHCK does not provide direct services, but rather we work to bring together social service and affordable housing nonprofits and partners from across the state to learn from each other, increase capacity, and influence policy.
