Dear Parent: Please be advised that Wednesday, October 16, 2013, Thursday, October 24, 2013 and Tuesday, October 29, 2013 have been scheduled as Parent-Teacher Conference Nights. Interim Reports will be available on your Infinite Campus account by Thursday, October 17th. Please check the report to see if a teacher has indicated that a conference is advisable.

We are using the same method for scheduling appointments that we did the last year. You will be able to go on-line and access each teacher’s appointment calendar. Instructions on how to log on and use the appointment calendar are located on page two of this letter. As in the past, appointments will be limited to five minutes, and we suggest that you leave 15 minutes between appointments to assure ample travel time between appointments. You may also schedule an appointment to speak with a guidance counselor or school psychologist.

The Appointment-Plus system will be accessible on Tuesday, October 1 after 9:00 a.m. Sincerely,

Directions for scheduling your Parent/Teacher Conference at High School West •

You are now at the home page! • • • •

Click on the register button – this is mandatory even if you have previously used this system. Fill in the required information, and create your username and password. Register each child currently attending High School West. Click on Submit. Be sure to write down your username and password, and add this site to your favorites. You are now ready to register for your Parent/Teacher Conference.

Registration Instructions Once you have successfully logged in, follow these steps: 1. Select the staff member you wish to meet. 2. Select the name of the child for whom you are making the appointment. 3. Select date of appointment. 4. Choose a time slot. 5. Click the FINALIZE APPOINTMENT button. 6. If you want to make another appointment with another teacher, select a different staff member from the drop down menu. 7. You must repeat steps 1 thru 6 for additional children. 8. Be sure to print your schedule and bring it with you. 9. Log out. Important Information •

There are three days to schedule your appointment. Not all teachers will be here all evenings. You will not be able to schedule an appointment for a teacher who is not in that evening.

Families are allowed one five-minute appointment per teacher per child.

If you have more than one child with the same teacher, you must register under each child’s name.

Please sign in again and cancel your appointment if you find you cannot attend.
