AMERICAN RED CROSS LEARN TO SWIM FOR CHILDREN #102 This course follows the progression of the American Red Cross swim levels 1-6. Repeat swimmers pick up where they left off, while new swimmers are tested on the %irst day for proper placement. The age requirements for this class is at least 5 years old by June 24th.
FAMILY SWIM #100 No instruction or activity is planned. The pool will be open with lap lanes for exercise, and a free swim area. Lifeguards are on duty during this program. Saturdays - Beginning April 2nd Time: 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM Fee: $125 for 12 Sessions
ADULT LAP SWIMMING #101 Showers, dressing areas and lockers are provided. Lifeguards are on duty during this program. Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays 8:00 PM - 9:45 PM Program Begins April 4th Fee: $60 for the Spring Session 30+ Lap Swim Dates in the Spring - Ends June 24th
ADULT LEARN TO SWIM #103 This course is for adults who cannot swim or want to improve their swimming skills. Topics include proper breathing, %loating, strokes and water safety. Fridays - Beginning April 1st Time: 8:00 PM - 9:00 PM Fee: $125 for 12 Classes - Ends June 24th

PRESCHOOLERS LEARN LEARN TO SWIM

This could be a child’s %irst swimming experience without a parent. Water orientation is taught with emphasis on kicking, arm pull/breath control, back %loat and water safety skills. The course is for children ages 2 to 5 years. Maximum enrollment is 10 per class. Please register early. SPRINGBOARD DIVING #104
This course will cover the basics of competitive springboard diving: approach, hurdle, take-off, %light and entry. Emphasis will be on proper techniques and form. In addition, all %ive groups of dives will be taught: forward, back, reverse, inward and twisting. The springboard course will also emphasize competitionlevel dives and techniques used in competition. AMERICAN RED CROSS LIFEGUARD #107
RECERTIFICATION FOR CPR/AED #109 This course is suitable for those who have CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer (Lifeguard) certi%ication that requires renewal. Participants must complete written testing and practical skill scenarios to receive certi%ication. Bring breathing masks, current certi%ications and $19 cash for the ARC certi%ication cards to the class. There are three dates available; only one (1) four-hour session is required for recerti%ication.
This full course consists of American Red Cross Lifeguard, First Aid, and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer. The course provides participants with the skills and knowledge to prevent, recognize, and respond to emergencies in and around pools. Age requirement: 15 years old by the end of the course Maximum number of participants: 10 – Course enrollment is based upon water strength and performance on the prerequisite swim test ONLY.

RECERTIFICATION FOR LIFEGUARDING WITH CPR/AED #110
1. Swim 300 yards continuously using the front crawl and/or breaststroke. 2. Tread water for 2 minutes using only the legs.
This course is suitable for those who have a current LGT/1st Aid/ CPR/AED certi%ication that requires renewal. A prerequisite swim test and validation of the participants
3. Swim 20 yards, surface dive 12 feet to retrieve a 10-pound object, swim 20 yards on your back with both hands holding the object and keeping your face at or near the surface, and exit the water. This must be performed in 100 seconds or less.
current ARC certi%ications will be conducted on the %irst night of class. During the course, participants will receive a full review of all material. Participants must complete written testing and practical skill scenarios to receive certi%ication. Bring your breathing masks, whistle, current certi%ications, bathing suit and $27cash for the ARC certi%ication cards to the %irst class. Two classes have been scheduled; you must attend all three classes in April OR June to received ARC certi%ication.
