BUDGET VOTE INFORMATION Voter Requirements In order to be eligible to vote you must be: • A citizen of the United States; and • A resident of the District for at least 30 days prior to the vote; and • At least 18 years of age; and • A registered voter (anyone who voted in a school or general election during the four years prior to the pending election need not re-register)
Voter Registration Residents may register to vote any school day between the hours of 9:00 am and 4:30 pm at the District Clerk’s Office at the Fran Greenspan Administration Center which is located at 525 Half Hollow Road in Dix Hills. The last day that a resident may register at the Fran Greenspan Administration Center for this year’s budget vote and election of trustees is Thursday, May 14, 2015. To accommodate residents, special voter registration dates at the District Clerk’s Office will be as follows: • Saturday, May 9, 2015 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm • Wednesday, May 13, 2015 from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm
