My project this fall is to spruce up a retired newspaper vending stand that I’m turning into my Little Free Library. It’s a project that’s been on my list for several months but had to wait its turn on the priorities list. I have a lot of books to get it started, and my neighbors are on board with donations as well. It will be a great neighborhood e ort to “take one, leave one.”Speaking of books, the annual fall Friends of the Library book sale at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds E*Plex from Sept. 14-18. We are big supporters of our local library systems here at the Kids Directory page garden. We’re thankful for their support as distribution locations of Kids Directory every month. Our local libraries are the great equalizers with books and technology available to everyone. Please support your local library and if you’re in the area in mid-September, stop by the Friends of the Library sale for some great deals! Hug your kids, and be good to yourself.
