The OC provides after-school activities for Ozark Schools students in kindergarten-6th grade from 3:30-6 p.m. Transportation is provided from schools to The OC when school is in session. The program includes swimming, gym games, homework time, crafts, and snacks. Register online or at the OC front desk. Prorated tuition in shorter school months. Cost is $115/month for annual members and $135/month for non-members. See ad on page 17.

Y Academy provides before- and after-school care for students in kindergarten-5th grade with structured time for students to start homework, engage in active fun, and enjoy a snack with friends. Participating in programs like this helps boost their school attendance and academic achievement. YMCA programs serve families who need quality wrap-around childcare during the school year. Staff members create a physically and emotionally safe and welcoming environment for all youth. Students are encouraged to think critically, make decisions, and solve problems. Families and the YMCA work, play, learn, and thrive together. Some centers provide childcare on snow days. SPARC (School-Parks Are Reaching Our Community) is a partnership between Springfield Public Schools and the Springfield-Greene County Park Board. SPARC offers licensed before- and after-school childcare programs at nine SPS sites with a snack and social time, engaging enrichment activities, mentoring, homework assistance, specialty clubs, and youth sports. Fees are $25-45/week; scholarships are available for eligible families. See ad on page 9.
