Kim can also correct permanent makeup that has been done by others.

Proper skin care results in healthy looking, more youthful skin “With microdermabrasion, I use a machine that removes or exfoliates the outer layer of dead skin,” Kim said. The procedure is very popular because the machine vacuums and cleans pores as well as reduces the look of fine lines and wrinkles. Once the procedure is completed, clients can apply makeup right away.

“There is no ‘down time’ with microdermabrasion,” Kim said. “The procedure is very non-invasive and gives an instant result.” Clients look rested, relaxed, and their skin looks fresh.

The second procedure Kim uses, the chemical peel, also removes the outer layer of dead skin, but because it is a stronger procedure, the skin requires a four- or five-day period to recover.
