History and Horror Tours ghost stories thrown in, all the stories are from the Atholl area. "As Costumed guides that recount stories of dark deeds and bloody battles, we feel we offer something a bit different and an alternative form of evening entertainment. I have found that visitors do get a feeling that listening to a storyteller telling local tales is a very ancient and authentic experience. I always say that since people gained the ability to light fires, storytellers have sat around the fire recounting stories from the past" says Gary Knight from History and Horror Tours.

A sinister figure lurking in the shadows, a scream piercing the still, calm night in Dunkeld is nothing to worry about for History and Horror Tours have started running a regular night time walking tour of Dunkeld. The company who have been running a similar tour in Perth for several years are now expanding into Atholl.

Anyone wishing to take one of our tours can pick a leaflet up in one of the shops or hotels in and around Dunkeld. You can visit our web site www.historyandhorrortours.com for more information on the Dunkeld and Perth Tours. For those of you who don't mind travelling a bit, we also do a Ghost Tour at Cultybraggan Prisoner of War Camp at Comrie about 25 miles west of Perth.

The tour involves costumed guides taking our guests around the beautiful and historic town of Dunkeld. We will be telling stories about Jacobite Battles, Witchcraft, Military Mutiny and legends, with a couple of good

Victoria’s Restaurant Whilst we are “Good to Go” with Covid-secure measures in place, one thing is for certain, Pitlochry will not be the same this year with the Theatre closed and Enchanted Forest and all the other wonderful local events cancelled. It’s time to pull together and promote all the other wonderful things to see & do here, attracting customers here and keeping them in the area. Now that lock-down is being relaxed, the team at Victoria’s Restaurant can’t wait to welcome you back to Victoria’s from Friday 24th July 2020. We’re so lucky to have such a great team here and our core friendly faces are the same as ever alongside some new faces, here to serve you delicious food & drink over the coming months.

Our loyalty card scheme continues to be popular and the free glass of wine for referred customers is very well received by your guests. If you’d like more wine cards, please email fiona@victorias-pitlochry.co.uk and we’ll drop some off to you. As ever, we thank you for all your sup3
