Directions from Minnedosa: North on PR road 262,continue through the town of Clanwilliam for approximately 2 miles. Cattle yard is on the east side of the road just south of the junction of 262 and 265. The number at the end of the lane is 93131.

Directions from #5 highway: Drive north from Neepawa, turn west at Eden onto road 265. Continue west to junction of 262, turn south, first yard on the east side of the road.

Welcome to the 4th Annual Rancher’s Select Simmental Bull Sale.

This year I have 3 polled fullblood bulls, 1 fullblood bull with scurs, and 2 horned fullblood bulls consigned to this sale. Homo Polled and Diluter test results are pending. If you have any questions feel free to phone or drop by the farm to view the bulls and their dams.

Antrim Kingsway 3k

BLACK GOLD TAQA 124D

Kingsway is a horned bull weighing in at 1033lbs. the heaviest of this year’s sale bulls. He comes from a very consistent cow family which raised two high sellers for me in last year’s sale. He has a wide topline, lots of depth, with a good hindquarter. His mother is a moderate framed cow who milks well, has good length, spring of rib, is easy keeping and has a great disposition. Diluter test pending.

Antrim Knight 6k

Knight is a polled bull who was raised by a two year old who weaned him with a weight of 933 lbs. He has lots of length, depth, a good hindquarter and has sound feet and legs. His dam is dark red with good body capacity and sound feet and legs. She comes from a consistent cow family with lots of size and performance. Homo Polled and Diluter test pending.

Antrim Kinross 15k

This polled bull has good length, a wide level topline, good round hind quarter and should be a reliable producer for his new owner. Kinross was raised by a 10-year-old cow who is due to calve again in February. She is a moderate framed cow that started one of the most reliable cow families in the herd. Homo Polled and Diluter test pending.

Kayson 26k

Kayson is a horned bull very dark red in color, has a wide topline, a good hind quarter which he had as a calf. His dam is a moderate framed cow with great length, good width, a good udder with good sized teats. She has always calved unassisted. Diluter test pending.

Antrim Kingpin 27k

Kingpin is dark red with good length, a wide level topline, and good hind quarter. His dam and granddam were both dark red and calved unassisted, both having good udders and good performance. Kingpin was registered as polled but was found to have scurs when clipped for photos. Diluter test pending.

Antrim Kilrea 39k

Antrim Kilrea is a polled bull and is the youngest bull in these years offering. He will only be a year old by sale day but he has kept up with his pen mates. Like his pen mates he has good length, good topline and hindquarter. His dam has vey good length and width, has a good udder with small teats and comes from a cow family with lots of performance. Homo Polled and Diluter test pending.

TERMS:

The terms of the sale are cash, cheque, and wire transfers, payable at par at the sale location unless satisfactory payment arrangements have been made prior to the sale with seller, buyer and Bohrson Marketing Services. Bohrson Marketing Services reserves the right to require a certified cheque as settlement before releasing any sale cattle. Payment in full must be made before cattle can be released and shipped. Exchange rates will be announced sale day and the sale will be held in Canadian funds.

BIDDING:

All animals to sell through the sale must be sold by auction with each animal selling to the highest bidder. Private sales will not be allowed except as otherwise provided for in the terms and conditions. No by-bidding will be permitted.

DISPUTES:

In cases of disputes, bidding will be reopened between the parties involved in the dispute. If no further bid is made, the buyer will be the person from whom the auctioneer accepted the last bid and the auctioneer’s decision will be final.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Any announcement from the auction block will take precedence over the printed matter in the catalogue. Buyers are therefore cautioned to pay attention to any such announcements.

LIABILITIES:

All persons attend the sale at the their own risk.

CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRY:

A registration certificate issued by the applicable breed association and a certificate of registry duly transferred will be furnished to the buyer of each animal after final payment has been made.
