HPU HOUSING At HPU, campus life empowers students by helping them to create a strong sense of self, both in the classroom and in the residential environment. All students who are not seniors and who do not live with their parents or guardians in North Carolina or within 50 miles of HPU are required to live on campus. The Office of Student Life's door is always open to our students for any questions or guidance they may need throughout their time living and learning on the HPU campus.

RESIDENCE HALL ASSIGNMENT Once students submit their enrollment deposit, they will complete the required online housing application, followed by a housing questionnaire. Your HPU login credentials will be sent to you after the $500 enrollment deposit is submitted. Beginning on January 16, 2024, the Housing Portal will be open. Students are encouraged to complete their housing application by May 1, 2024.

FRESHMAN HOUSING There is no bad place to live at High Point University! Beginning with our standard rooms at the Tier 1 level to our Tier 5 freshman housing options... all the way to our Tier 7 tiny home living for upperclassmen, every space becomes your home away from home and provides a unique living environment for your time at HPU. Housing Tier 1: Double occupancy room in Belk, Finch, McEwen, Millis, North, Wesley and Yadkin residence halls. Housing Tier 2*: Three or four bedroom suites in Blessing, single room in Finch and McEwen, and a double occupancy room in University Center-2 and R.G. Wanek Center.

FINCH HALL (Honors Scholar and Wellness Housing) LOCATION: Center of campus, between Slane Student Center and the Kester International Promenade TIER: 1 (double occupancy), 2 (single occupancy) GENDER: Coed, Honors Scholar Living, Learning and Wellness Community OCCUPANCY: Suite-style double occupancy with two rooms (four students) sharing a bathroom FEATURES: Vibrant and clean carpet, twin beds (standard twin size), desks, dressers and closets AMENITIES: Common lounge on each floor, sand volleyball courts, study lounges on every floor, 100% wireless internet, walk-in showers, mini-blinds on all windows, ceiling fans, completely furnished, cable TV outlets, free laundry facilities for residents, air conditioned with individual thermostats Honors Scholars are the only students allowed to remain in this central campus housing during their sophomore year. Finch Hall will not appear on the initial housing application, so Honors Scholar students will need to fill out this application with other preferences.

Each bathroom has a walk in shower with glass door, a sink, eight vanity drawers, and a vanity cabinet. Kitchen has a full fridge (small), mircowave, upper kitchen cabinets, lower kitchen cabinets and one small basin sink. Shared living room has a media stand, coffee table/ottoman, a four-piece sectional (in two bedroom suite) and a six-piece sectional (in a four bedroom suite).
