For example, every freshman takes the First-Year Seminar on Life Skills, led by HPU President Nido Qubein. He is an entrepreneur, consultant to CEOs, author and international speaker who focuses on important topics such as communication, negotiation, financial literacy, time management and relational capital. It's rare for a college president to teach a course for all freshmen, but President Qubein cares and is a constant presence on campus.
