Georgiana Kennedy was born in 1805 in England. Georgiana was born in a big house and had a wonderful childhood life. The first tragedy happened when she was 13.Her dad died because he was thrown of a hoarse. Soon she married a man called John Molloy.

It was hard to get to shore because the tides were very big. But the Molley's were lucky, on the ship there was also travelling with them the Bussel boys. The Bussel Boys helped the Molley's get to shore without losing any supplies.

When the Molloys got to shore Georgiana Molloy told one of the Bussel Boys that she was feeling that she was about to have a baby. So the Bussel boy built the first tent for Georgiana. Georgiana got into the tent but it suddenly started to rain so one of her servants had to hold a umbrella over Georgiana and she had her first baby.

Georgiana Molloy had her first baby but it was not very strong. Georgiana called her first baby Mary Elizebeth after her sisters but soon tragic seeped over her. 9 days after the birth of her first baby it died.

Soon Georgiana Molloy forgot the sad stuff and is now collecting flowers and seeds and sending them back to England for John mangles to study. She also had to write some information for the plants too.

Triumph or not Georgiana Molloy was remembered as the first internationally successful female botanist in Western Australia. Some of the samples of flowers and seeds from two of her collections are archived in both Kew Herbarium and Cambridge University. Some of Georgiana Molloy’s letters and diaries also survived and are held at the Cumbria Archive Centre in Carlisle UK and the JS Battye Library in Perth WA. Many things about Georgiana Molloy and her life are available now on a computer screen anywhere in the world.
