Intro • If you live near bush land you are at risk of a bushfire so my survival booklet will include all the information you need to survive a bushfire.

How to prepare your house • Cut long grass and dense scrub. Regularly rake up leaf litter and twigs under trees. Prune lower tree branches (up to two meters off the ground) to stop a ground fire spreading into the canopy of trees. Remove shrubs and small trees under and between larger trees. Clear vegetation along the boundary of your property to create a firebreak. Make sure you meet your local government’s fire break requirements. Keep roof gutters and valleys clear of leaves and bark.
