When Georgiana molloy was 16 years old her father sadly passed away by falling off a horse.

It was a very hard ride. But sadly they had lost lots of supplies on the way there they had arrived at Cape Town.


Then they had left on a new boat called the warrior and sailed to the Swan River Colony.


Finally they had arrived at the swan River colony. But the land had already been taken over and they heard that There was a free place at Flinders bay so they left and went off.


Then after all that sailing they finally found the place. There were currents but luckily they brang the Busse Cape Town and made Shure that they arrive safely at the beach and had all their luggage. Sadly they h Supplies. Georgiana molloy felt that she was going to have a baby.



The Bussel boys had got them safely to shore without any luggage getting wet, damaged and lost in the waves. The Bussel boys set up the first tent for Georgiana molloy to have her baby in. Then it stared raining and there was a Hole in the tent and the Bussel boys had to hold an umbrella over her head.


She named her baby Elizabeth Mary but sadly the baby passed away a few days later.


When her baby passed away she went into the bushes and found a purple flower to put on Elizabeth Mary's grave.


After that sadly happened John Mangles told Georgiana molloy to send seeds and flowers to England.


Triumphs Georgiana Molloy has been remembered as the first female botanist in Western Australia. Some of Georgiana’s diaries have survived and they are held at the Cumbria Archive Center and The library in Perth WA.
