It’s always exciting to try something new. Social on the Square doesn’t schedule any formal wine tastings, but they’re happy to let customers have samples when they’re trying to decide what to order. There’s also the “wine flight” with smaller servings of any four wines the customer chooses, and tasty “light bites” (southern pimiento cheese, garlic hummus, charcuterie plate) all prepared in-house. The upstairs area, furnished with sofa and lounge chairs, is another comfortable seating area open to all; however this space can also be rented for private special events like club meetings and birthdays or other celebrations. Live music enhances the ambiance and creates a warm and relaxed setting that promotes socialization. There’s live music at Social late afternoons and early evenings on the weekends. After a summer music concert series, the music starts again in September with Texas State student Cameron Albright, a very talented musician, and folk-Americana singer-songwriter Hannah Swann. The Wimberley Players

Founded in 1979, the Players are the oldest non-profit organization in town. The group’s mission is to provide first-class live theater and they do not disappoint! Experience high flying fun on an action packed ride at Wimberley Zipline, as you soar over canyons and creeks with 15-mile views of the Wimberley Valley on a series of 10 zip line crossings. Tours last 1-1/2 to 2 hours. Admission is $90 per person, and includes parking, equipment, training, a guided walking tour, bottled water and the zipline adventure.
