PRIORITIES FOR PHILANTHROPHY AT HSC Hillfield Strathallan College is grateful to the donors who have built the pillars of the great College that we are today. Knowing that each and every student is enjoying the gifts of those who have given before them, we understand the importance of philanthropy in leading independent schools so that the mission of an exceptional educational experience can be carried forward. At HSC, throughout the year and in collaboration with our donors, we direct our gifts to programming that has direct impact on our students: the HSC Endowment, the David Tutty Joy and Innovation Fund, Scholarships and Bursaries, and the Area of Greatest Need. Join us to support one of our initiatives that falls under an area of greatest need, the Arts at HSC.

ABOUT HSC We believe the best education of any child is achieved through a partnership between the school and the family as well as our community, with the shared goal of helping students to achieve their full potential. HSC consists of four small schools united by a common commitment to a shared Mission and Ideals. We are committed to ensuring a balance between the development of student independence and guidance from a caring faculty, who are sensitive to the age and stage of the student. We aim to develop students who ask great questions, are resilient problem-solvers and are connected to the wider world. All students learn differently, and we make every effort to address individual learning needs and styles. True learning occurs when curriculum is meaningful and relevant, and we believe learning is not restricted to the classroom. Students who are most successful in university and beyond are those who are engaged fully in a rich program of co-curricular offerings, in addition to a solid academic program. HSC students discover and follow their passions, whether they lie in academics, athletics, arts, outdoor education or community service. Through shared experiences, the close-knit HSC community helps students bond with their classmates and teachers for life.
