Political Cartoons

I used to grab my phone to start scrolling mindlessly through social media every morning. While I still whip out my phone in the morning, I attempt to solve the daily Wordle instead.

Wordle is a fun daily game where your objective is to guess a five-letter word. You have six guesses; each time you make a guess, the game gives you information about the letters within the word. It’s pretty similar to the format of Mastermind. There is a new word every 24 hours, released at midnight. Unfortunately, it is not available on the app store; you can only play the game through the website.

Wordle sounds like a simple game, and it is. The simplicity is what makes this game so enjoyable and addictive.

Wordle is all over social media. Whether I’m scrolling through TikTok or Twitter, I’ll usually see something in my feed about Wordle. There are some people on the internet who take this game to a whole other level. I have read tons of theories about the best wordguessing strategies. There are even hackers who discover and post the next day’s word online in hopes of crushing others' moods.

Most of my friends and family play Wordle, and even a couple of my teachers play it.

It only takes a few minutes a day, so why not give it a try?

My score for Wordle 230 (February 4)
